Actually there's a vegan version of her diet plan available so as a vegetarian you could mix and match from the original and vegan versions maybe?! Just an idea.

Am assuming you bought one of these by now? Am actually trying to choose between the two monitors you mentioned myself. Which did you get and what did you think of it?

If you're a Jillian fan, how about doing her "30 day slimdown" which is a rotation plan which she devised to alternate several of her DVDs for best results? Google it or message me if you want a copy.

I live half the year in Cairo and my weight goes down a couple of hundred grams per day while there even with zero exercise and fatty food. I don't regain on my return home either. It's a nice diet boost for me!

After eight mints are 35 calories each. Cadbury buttons treat size bags are 75 cals per bag.

I eat tons of pancakes and any new variation is appreciated. Yum yum yum.

Sounds yum! Always on the look out for yummy lunches.

Mine were an epic failure in every way.

Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatallah wa barakathu. MashaAllah what lovely stories you've all shared! I've been a lurker here on the group for a while now hoping that someone would get the group more active but since it's still so quiet I thought I'd introduce myself anyway. I'm Charlotte and i officially converted in 2001…

Read somewhere an interview where jillian says that it's supposed to be done 6 days a week but 30 days total. I know that's not made clear on the DVD itself though.

Just wanted to add that I'm now eating between BMR and TDEE.

I hit a plateau after many months losing well at 1200 cals. Stuck with it but the scale wouldn't shift so added 100 cals weekly. The scale stayed put for a while, didn't increase I'm pleased to say, and seems to be heading slowly down now. I'm currently at 1650 calories daily. If nothing else, at least I didn't gain and…

A teaspoon of fruit curd taste great. My favourite is orange curd. I also do plain fage with a teaspoon of golden syrup of I really want something sweet.

Having spent a lot of my teens and twenties either bed bound or in a wheelchair I can honestly say I don't take my ability to now walk 10 miles in under 3 hours once or twice each week for granted. I just love every minute of it!

I think using the Helloitsdan formula you should then be eating 2221 cos the table generated tells you the number to eat. You don't need to subtract anything. Might be wrong but that's the way I understand it.

Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatallah wa barakathu. Last Ramadan I was counting calories but hadn't discovered MFP yet. I wasn't as strict on myself as usual and didn't exercise but still lost two or three kilos. My hubby likes exercising directly before iftar and I've got to agree with him on timing. This year inshallah I'll…

Pancakes and crepes - I still eat them daily. Not about to give them up!

Great post this!

Yummy!

The mini pats of butter which you get in hotels/cafes etc are 7g usually which is 50 calories. Id guesstimate that you'd use about 1g or 2g if you're adding then wiping out do that'd be roughly 12 cals or so. Just do a manual add for that?

Despite wanting to get thin and healthy I just can't live without my pancakes. I have pancakes or crepes virtually every day just working them into my calorie allowance. A diet without pancakes is unsustainable for me! If you want pancakes, have pancakes and work them into your allowance. In my experience, if I try to…

I'm aged 33 and 180lbs and trying to figure out the same thing as you. I'm currently on 1550 but exercise less than you. Not much help, sorry.

Actually I've read a quote from jillian that says it should only be 4 times per week but 30 days total. Guess the DVD should make that clear though.

I just bought the box set today. Not sure which one to start with but really looking forward to it, whichever it turns out to be!

Buttermilk pancakes and syrup. Can't live without pancakes!

Loads of birds and rabbits. Dogs being walked. A red kite. A newt (which I narrowly missed running over).

I log the calories shown on my pedometer app. My reasoning is this: the pedometer app tells you the average speed but if you've varied your speed you'll have burnt extra calories and these will be accounted for. The calories shown on MFP would be (for example) 30 mins at a straight 3.5mph rather than 20 mins at 3.5mph and…

Did my shop yesterday but would face loved to post. would have had to hide the cheesecake behind the bunch of bananas though!!

A spoon of fruit curd mixed in. Any fruit curd is great but orange curd works best for me.
