The last one's I can remember are the two large Canadian Geese that chased me away from their nest. One of them pecked me in the *kitten* before I could get away.

I love nature as I walk along the river each day! But those two Geese stand out far and above the other animals I have seen!

On yesterdays walk I saw, 1 whale, a couple sea lions, a harbor seal, 3 Osprey, a herd of Elk, a squashed possum, a squashed raccoon, a black tail deer, a black tail deer skeleton, a million seagulls, a red tail hawk, all kinds of cows and calves, a couple other hawks I did not know the names of, several dogs and cats and a pig that thought it was necessary to scare the hell out of me when he thought he needed to wolf whistle at me when I thought I was all alone. Living on the coast with the redwoods around is amazing.

All I saw the last time I was out was a squirrel and a bunch of those fuzzy little black caterpillars....

Oh, and some dogs walking their humans.

Depends where I walk. Along the beach I see dolphins, crabs, seagulls and sometimes blue bottles.
Around my home it is also a bit different:

    Cats
    Dogs (lots)
    Mynah birds
    Pigeons
    Doves
    Swallows
    Weaver birds
lots of different kinds of lizards
    Mongoose (?geese)
    Guinea Fowl
    Monkeys
    The occasional snake
And very occasionally a huge deer, but he hides away mostly

    Loads of birds and rabbits.
    Dogs being walked.
    A red kite.
A newt (which I narrowly missed running over).

A few little bunnies and a handful of birds. Some cows waaay off in the distance. And, of course, a million and a half prairie dogs. I get a bit worried about coyotes, since my usual trail is in established territory and the newspaper reported that the darn things have been brave enough to try to children during family walk, but I have yet to see any myself.

Stepped on a cottonmouth snake the other day while running on a trail near a swamp. I didn't even realise I stepped on him until I heard it hiss and try to bite my leg. That definetly got me moving a little faster!

that is way worse than the trouser snakes I see!!

Got a couple of deer that hang out on my running path... a litteral couple. Think I caught them "doing it" last week. Th e ol' man was none too happy. Otherwise it's just the random snake, squirrel, chipmunk, rabbit, and a **** ton of birds..... OH and a horse.... with a cop on its back
