Linked from that article I think the AHA is probably fairly trustworthy tbh.

Given that they're all pretty much the same, four quarters will be the same as one whole. You do not need to be THAT accurate with the calorie counting! Oooh, top of the page! Have a bonus picture: Yum!

Cheat day yesterday  Bought one of each flavour and shared them with my wife. Worth every one of the 500 calories  Orange is clearly the best BTW.

What exactly do you mean by give up? If you just want to take a break from eating a a deficit then fine, keep an eye on things but don't sweat it for a while. If you're planning on deliberately putting the weight back on then that's a bit odd.
-
You had a burger, half a small fries and a coke? You're not very good at cheat days are you? Sorry, but keep things in perspective - 105lb is 367,500 calories. What you had today is immaterial either way!
-
Eh? 6lb / week is a deficit of about 21,000 calories, or 3,000 a day. As you're a personal trainer I suppose it's possible that you're burning 4,800 a day whilst consuming 1,800, but then you really do need to log your exercise. And probably eat more to be honest.

Yes. And it's usually me

On a non-exercise day they're breakfast, on an exercise day they're post-workout recovery. Oh, and MyProtein Chocolate Orange is just nice to drink

That Ladyhawk00 post should be in big letters on the login screen IMO.

Start cold, finish warm  If you try to start warm you'll cook after about 5 minutes

I've got a microwave omelette maker that makes a reasonable job of a 2 egg omelette

Umm, that seems a lot of things to cut out in one go? Is your naturopath registered to a recognised professional body? Because there's a story in the UK today about how a Which investigation into nutritionists (who don't need to be registered in the UK, unlike dieticians) showed that they'd happily make downright dangerous…

Women in full makeup (eyeshadow, lipstick, etc) at the gym look a bit daft IMO. Of course, if you're a bit more subtle than that then I probably won't notice
-
Admit it - you're just showing off  Still, if I looked like that I'd show off quite a bit too
-
That honestly sounds like a recipe for disaster! :noway:
-
How noisy is it?! (Sorry, couldn't resist  ) What do you mean by junk anyway? If it' just fast food then it shouldn't be too hard - most supermarkets will sell pre-cooked chicken breasts or similar, which make a good, high protein snack with no effort required (save removing the skin to save some fat)

What the hell is a fluffy man?…

Panic over. I didn't eat the potatoes, so now I'm only 1300 over!
-
I'm quite enjoying today actually. Work bought me 3 pints to say thanks for a job well done, and then I picked up an M&S dine in for £10 meal on the way home. Tasty, if not so good for the calorie count.

An alternative view: Stop fighting, you've already won. Dropping 50lbs and keeping it off is a stunning achievement. You're fitter& healthier (and I assume better looking) than you were two years ago. Start enjoying that rather than obsessing over the last 10 lbs. Keep half an eye on your weight, but don't let it rule you,…

You'll look better in clothes that fit properly. All that extra fabric just adds bulk. 94 lbs is a hell of an achievement - treat yourself to a shopping trip! If you're really not sure what you want you can get personal shopping at most department stores. They get paid to find you nice clothes that you want to buy, so you…

Of those, spinning's the only one I've done and it's brutal. I've stopped my gym subscription though, and now get my exercise being 'encouraged' by military PTs. It's so much more fun than any class I've ever done, or anything in a gym for that matter. Oh, and you work harder than you ever thought you could.…
-
But then you'll be buying clothes that'll only fit you for a short amount of time, before they're too big for you again. Shoes and bags on the other hand...
-
That seems a bit high? According to this http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/exercise/SM00109 you'll burn about 1000 kcal / hour if you're 200lbs and running 7-minute-miles for an hour. That's pretty fast, equivalent to running a 23 minute 5k time.

King Prawn Butterfly Chicken Shashlik (assuming the veggies are grilled - it implies they are) Dal Tarka The lentils may not be low carb per se, but they're low GI and should be enough to stop you "tasting" other people's curries! I'm hungry now, and it's only 9.00!
-
Nah, just stop eating as much  Seriously, don't over complicate things, at least to start. Just get on with it.

Have you not got access to a rowing machine? That's supposed to be just about the most effective cardio in terms of calories burned.

Before20: Well 19 then
