  • I love optimum nutrition 100% whey also. 24 g protein and only 2g carbs. they have tons of flavors and its cheap on bodybuilding.com
  • I've been drinking shakeology for awhile now. I've just started CLX not long ago, I'll be done with the burn phase in a week and I love it!
  • since I'm at school with little time between classes and no microwave, i drink shakeology and bring other small snacks to have throughout the day in my lunchbox :)
  • They would both work, it is completely up to you which one to do, its all a matter of which one would you enjoy doing more. As far as recovery days, ripped in 30 is set up so that you only do one recovery day a week. If you use weight machines it all depends on what you work, you should give the muscle group around 48 hrs…

  • i did when i started and was eating the wrong things, once you figure out what your body needs its hard to eat enough
  • my husband is the same he can eat whatever he wants. I wish I could eat like he does and sometimes I do, still not sure what to do about it either because I have no self control.
  • i logged mine as strength training before I got a HRM
  • Beachbody has a lot of workout programs that have worked for so many people. There is an option for everyone. What I like the most is they come with a lot of dvds that incorporate strength, cardio, and stretching. So its not the same thing over and over again and it covers all aspects of fitness. If you have any questions…
  • I'm from NC also!!
  • thats great that you had lost 50 lbs before! I'm sure you will lose it back again with TF. I have just started back with TF recently too, so we will see how it goes!
  • Turbo fire is awesome! Although, I haven't tried insanity. But it is all a matter of what you enjoy doing and what you will look forward to working out to instead of seeing it as a chore. I like turbo because it is a hard core workout however it is a lot of fun, so I don't dread working out ever.
  • I don't know others views on this but I say don't buy anything you wouldn't normally buy just because you have a coupon and its a "good deal."
  • I wish I had a solution. I feel your pain on that one. Being short it makes it look even weirder when you have bigger calves. I've just gotten used to them and don't think about them.
  • Hey! I hear ya, as soon as I'm done with one assignment or test there is another one waiting for me! At least I can take a break from it when I work out though and that makes me happy :)

  • losing slowly is the healthiest way to lose. losing too much in a short period of time sets you up for gaining it all back.
  • -boil up some eggs in advance and go ahead and peel and remove yolks put in individual bags grab and go. add a piece of fruit. -whole wheat mini bagel with low fat cream cheese is quick, pop in the toaster spread and go. -some mornings i do shakeology, mixes quick and drink in the car on my commute.
  • i'd say energy, i have one in the morning before a workout and it keeps me going. also tryptophan is an amino acid in proteins and bananas have very little protein. so i feel like theyd be more for energy than sleep. but i could be completely wrong, i am by no means an expert on the matter.
  • string cheese....sargento makes a low-sodum part skim that is awesome and only 60 cals! also apples or carrot sticks never get old.
  • I started with Jillians Ripped in 30 and wanted to move to something more intense so I went with TurboFire for my programs I have tried my husband's P90X but it wasn't really for me. I thought the workouts were too long and I didn't have a good set of weights to use for the lifting days. I love the Turbo Fire workouts…
  • oh yeah, that one might be better, I'll try that next time
  • I've been doing TurboFire for a month now and I LOVE it! I'm always in the mood to workout and never want to skip a day. Its a fun workout but it is also intense and you know you've gotten a good workout for the day. It also gives me more energy for the rest of my day! My only issue is not enough strength training so my…
  • try a new activity! it always gets me motivated to exercise if i'm doing something new and exciting. if you usually do cardio machines inside, try going outside for a run. or try a fun new dvd. maybe some yoga, that helps boost your mood also.
  • I do it under cardio- strength training.
  • my love of sweets!! it completely throws off all my hard work :(
  • I'm 23 & always looking for new friends for support. Add me!!
  • I have it & I think it is a good introductory workout for kettlebells. There are two levels each about 30 minutes. I like them but I don't think they are that intense, I usually do it back to back with another one of her dvds.
  • I finished Ripped in 30 a week ago and then started turbo fire. So I've been doing it for about a week and I love it, it gives you so much energy! I was worried about learning the moves and stuff too. But I've been using the new to class option and I feel like I have the moves down after one time through. I look forward to…

  • I just started yesterday on the regular plan! Love it! When did you start?
  • Thanks everyone for the advice!! I've decided to go with Turbo Fire because I think I'll be more pumped about it than insanity. If I need to try something different later then I will get insanity.
