Ooh, will have to try that one. Thanks! I make this one: For one can of tuna - Juice of half a lime Parsley 1-2 T light ranch dressing Dash of Old Bay or Lemon Pepper (depending on my mood) I wrap it in a whole wheat or other wrap with cucumber and tomato slices.

Like the others have said, it will only get worse. Get it done now while it can be done laproscopically. If it gets really bad they have to do the more invasive surgery, which has a much longer recovery time. I hope you are on the road to feeling better soon!

I believe this might just be worth a try!

I found this on a link someone posted here, and I have used it many times: 1 whole wheat tortilla 1 cup baby spinach leaves 3 oz. turkey Dijon or brown mustard 1 small cucumber, sliced (I use baby cukes) 1 tomato, sliced Splash of red wine vinegar Layer, roll, wrap in plastic, chill, eat! Turkey bacon and avocado would be…

I've completed TurboFire twice. It helped me get over huge plateaus and improved my stamina tremendously! I really need to dust it off again - and maybe add the advanced level! You may add me if you want. Good luck!

Hello, I will be 44 next Saturday, so feel free to add me! I have found that exercise, as much and as often as you can do, has been very helpful - even more than food choices. It's great to have encouragement, too, which is why I love MFP!

I would love to be 150 lbs. That would make my total weight loss 135 lbs.!

I'm a K-6 Music teacher in two schools - 1500 students. I pretty much run from 8:00-3:30, but I get up at 5:00 a.m., work out, shower, get my daughter and I out the door by 7:15 a.m. I have to be at school at 7:45 a.m. As for food, for breakfast I make egg mugs (Hungry Girl got me started on those, so fast!) or get Subway…

I will break that rule if it is fruit or veggies - but NO dips!

I will have a Reece's Dark every now and then - peanut butter, dark chocolate - two of my favorite things, and only 200 calories. 100 at a time if I only have one a day. The only way I would say "No", is if you know you are sensitive to sugar.

Looks very good, I love Parmesan crusted anything - thanks!

I showed the pic to my husband - he said I should print this out and try next week! Thanks!

I'm another KettleWorx fan! I had been doing a lot of cardio (Zumba/TurboFire), but no one really noticed how much weight I had lost until about 3 weeks after I added KettleWorx. I can see that I will eventually have to find a more challenging kettlebell workout, though. I never thought I would be able to say that!
-
I totally agree! I had some joint/muscular issues before working with Kettlebells. Because I started out light (5 lb.) and worked my way up, I'm now ready for 12 lbs. I am in much better shape and most of my issues are gone.

Wow, I didn't know there were so many others in my boat! I think this is the group for me, feel free to add me, thanks! Edit to add stats :blushing: 5' 5" 210 lbs.

Wow, you read my mind.

I'll give you some more motivation - I'm better in my 40's than I was in my 30's! I did have some health issues that got in my way, but I could have kept on the downward spiral. I hate to think where I would be had I not made serious changes. It's been a five year ride to get where I am now, and I'm looking forward…

I agree with all of this, plus I like the reminder. It loads a lot easier and faster on my phone (HTC DNA) than the previous version.

I have to agree! If you are able to control your oil and you have calories left it is a very satisfying snack.
-
This seems like a good way to go. I have had my struggles like the OP has had. I have to agree with you about building muscle. Thanks for this reply!
-
Great answer! I agree with this. You do what you can do and celebrate your success. I would have loved to have been your size when I was 19. You look healthy to me!
-
Great question! Unfortunately I have an answer that sounds like a copout, but it's true: It depends on the day or my mood. Some days I'm great at eating, some days I'm great at exercising. Very few days do the two happen together.

I know Dr. Oz isn't very well liked by some MFPers, but he made the point that skim milk is nothing but milk sugar. That contributes (does not outright cause) to metabolic issues including diabetes. I have had issues my whole life and was raised on skim milk because my Mom was a very early Weight Watchers member. My…

Yes, and I have to sleep with it up, too. Drives me crazy to have it on my neck when I'm trying to sleep.

Irish Blessing May the road rise up to meet you; may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, and the rains fall soft upon your fields. Until we meet again, my friend, until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand. Listen to this version at minute 4:35. Visual is awful, the…

So glad you posted this! I itch on my belly, legs, inner elbow (!). Glad to know the cause, but I would love to find a cure!

My dad always grows turnips so I grew up around them, but my mom never cooked them. We always ate them raw! This recipe may get me to try to cook them. Thanks for posting!

I think as long as you are cooling down for at least a minute - walking, stretching, whatever - you should be able to do what you want to do. Not so crazy a question!
