  • Mine is a combo of what was in my closet that used to be too tight and buying what I could. However, anything I bought had to be TIGHT! It gave me motivation to keep losing, and I had newer clothes that eventually fit "right". I also only bought things on sale. Considering how hard I am to fit, this is what has worked for…
  • Bath & Body Works Black Amethyst and Japanese Cherry Blossom.
  • My most vivid memory growing up on a farm........... "Snakes in a bale!" Yes, there was a snake baled in the hay, I didn't see it and grabbed part of it as I was picking the bale up. The second memory was stepping on a frog on the way to get our drinking water from the hand pump. Decicied not to wear shoes that day. x(…
  • I would say - anything that pertains to her. Some people love one thing, others hate that exact thing. You know her best. Having said that, for me I would like a terrific bottle of wine, slowly sipping it under the stars on the patio with some music playing and time to have a real conversation - nothing about work, kids,…
  • That was mine, too. I'm not fast enough.
  • I have read that some people notice an ammonia smell when they don't know they are diabetic. I am not saying that is your case, but if it increases to noticing this when you are not exercising, see your doctor. It could also be the toxins you are getting out of your system. Make sure you are getting enough water, too.
  • I'm sorry that has happened to you! I have not been in your situation, but with the economy the way it is, we should probably all have contingency plans. You sound like you have been taking it well and doing what I would have done (including the wine!). Network as much as possible - opportunities sometimes show up…
  • The sad thing is, there must be someone who takes them up on their lame messages, or I don't think they would be sending them in the first place.
  • I do whenever I get a chance, but for the reason you cite - I'm always paranoid that there is something on me somewhere!
  • I have a cousin with Muscular Dystrophy and my grandfather had Parkinson's, so it would be split between MDA and the Michael J. Fox foundation.
  • If they just want something warm - isn't that the reason "American Pie" was such a huge hit? Your husband should want YOU.
  • I found Aria at Meijer, it says it is made for women. It is a blend of whey and soy. Not sure about the taste, but I put it in things, I don't make it by itself.
  • I have been using KettleWorx for over a year, maybe two by now. I really like it. There is plenty of routines to do that I don't get bored. I started out with a 5 lb. and have worked my way up to a 10 lb. Hope this helps!

  • Well, I feel a little better about myself. I was a Grade 2, but now I'm a Grade 1! And it was damn hard to get there. I'm looking at the silver lining
  • I have followed something close to South Beach a long time ago, but was recovering from gall bladder surgery and didn't realize how challenging that would be. I am restarting Bill Phillips' "Eating For Life", which is amazingly similar to SB. Good luck to you!
  • Saw this on "The Chew" (I think) last week. Pickle juice! There is even a company that is marketing single "shots" of it!
  • I was so not thinking food - my immediate thought was a Spa Pedicure. I suppose if I was eating cheesecake while getting said pedicure, well, that would be orgasmic!
  • Ooh! Great tip, thanks! To the OP: I shop the sales, if it's a really good one I stock up. I usually have meals in mind, but sometimes I find a new recipe to throw into the rotation. Sometimes I've been super organized only to have my week blow up for some reason and then I'm stuck with food that ends up going bad, so I've…
  • I like different ones at different times depending on my mood. I have to say Fire 30 is a great fast workout. All of them are fun in different ways.

  • I didn't love it at first either. I don't particularly like that style of music, but I got used to it. I think it was about week 4 when I stated doing the HIIT routines that I really got into it. I will say that I didn't find the toning and sculpting to be all that useful. I now supplement with KettleWorx for strength. I…
  • Birth control is not covered by my insurance and is not covered by very many plans. ED is treated like a disease, PMS and prevention of pregnancy is not. I think that part of the debate.
  • I was with you until it got to the tuna. I tried a similar recipe years ago, and it just ended up tasting like cat food. Any ideas about how to keep that from happening? It's not that I don't like tuna, I think it's the combo of tuna and sauce. I could see shredded chicken as a substitute, but you don't get the health…
  • If you haven't seen Cookie Monster's version yet, head to YouTube right now - hilarious!

  • I LOVE dogs........on leashes or properly trained. My daughter loves animals, but shows a distinct fear of dogs because of dogs that have run up to her and/or jumped up on her. It is a shame that people make it your problem. My SIL works in a Vet's office and she says that if a dog bites more than once they are supposed to…
  • I've have both. Zumba was great to get me moving. TurboFire whipped my butt into shape! Both were fun, but the calorie burn winner goes to TurboFire. Don't get me wrong, I liked Zumba and did the DVDs religiously for about a year and a half, but TF was definitely the next step in my exercise routine. I'm now ready for…

  • When I was in physical therapy for a ruptured disc the therapist had me walk backwards on the treadmill. I still do that sometimes and I do it on the elliptical as well.
  • I haven't read through all 8 (!) pages, so there are probably duplicates, but here are mine: Cake - War Pigs Johnny Cash - Personal Jesus They Might Be Giants - Istanbul (not Constantinople) Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Higher Ground
