I am going to do this too! My best friend is getting married at the end of November and I am going to be speaking at her wedding. I have told myself I was going to do 30DS before but never have managed to get through all 30 days. So please help and encourage me!

If you can find it the Chocolate Raspberry one is very good (and very sweet). Almost tastes like a candy bar. I use it as a treat but for some reason it is a very hard to find in my area.

Just had a slice of pecan pie.

Prayers are five times a day and are very short 2 - 5 minutes they can be done in the privacy of your own home or in a public place. There is a morning prayer before sun up and then an two prayers in the afternoon (ish) and two prayers at night. It is supposed to keep people God conscious. As a Muslim personally prayer vs.…

I am not doing so well. I gained 5 lbs the first week. I think TOM messes my weight up big time. Well now I am down 1.2 lbs so I have gained 3.8lbs since the start of Sept, definitely not the way I wanted to start this challenge. So I am in the hole I want to lose 8.8 lbs before 9/30/11.

I am in. I am 5'4" and am currently 173 I want to be 168 or less by Sept 30. How I am going to get there. 30DS and cutting down on the sweets. Good Luck everyone and help me along the way!

Sure eat all the twinkies you want and lose weight. But don't mention the adverse health effects. What is the point of losing weight if you don't live long enough to enjoy it???

Congratulations on making it half way through Ramadan. Love the posts lets keep up the good work!

Ramadan Mubarak!

It is ok to indulge once and a while, just remeber to log it and not go over your calories. Or workout and burn off all those calories. When you are working out tell yourself that this if for that piece of chocolate and the wafer!

Good Luck!

I drink the shakes and take some supplements. I like the multivitamin, total control (curbs appetite) and the cell-u-loss which is supposed to make sure you are not bloated. The problem is that they are expensive and it is calorie control, so if you can watch your calories on MFP then you are basically accomplishing the…

Eat more protein! That is what helps your muscle develop.

Congrats! Keep up the good work, I am doing the 30 day shred but not every day just 3 -4 times a week. I am hoping next month to do it continuously. Your results are really motivating!
-
Totally agreed. Don't try and do a drastic change and throw all the stuff in your fridge out, log what you are going to eat before you eat it and see if it makes sense for your calorie goal. You will figure out what foods you want to eat and what foods you can do without. Good Luck!

How is everyone logging your workout? I usually put circut training 20min

It is once cup cooked (boiled) rice is about 205 calories. Try switching to brown rice or if you really want to make a difference skip it all together. Nutritionally it doesn't add much it just acts as a filler and more carbs.

Protein shake - Pina Colada flavored. Honestly I think, I spend more time thinking about food after joining MFP before I was just eating it!

I feel the same way, I seem to lose weight in my face, chest, arms, waist, but never in my hips. I have been taking measurements and the hip numbers have changed but ever so slightly. I think it will be the last thing to go, your body needs to adjust to the weight loss. Good Luck keep at it!

I am going to start it too!

Start by switching to wheat or whole grains. I would also suggest eating more protein that will make you feel more satisfied.

Use the yogurt to marinate chicken breast. I like adding garlic, ginger and tikka masala (Indian spice you can find it in the ethnic section of most groccery stores). Let it sit overnight and then just grill it serve with brown rice or chop up the chicken for on top of a salad.
-
Subway 6 inch turkey on wheat no mayo or cheese. 280 calories, 3.5g fat is my favorite. Or go for a salad with a light dressing watch out though cheese, bacon, croutons or a high calore dressing could dramatically increase the calories.

Picture of my godson, kind of how I feel. Like a big blob and a super big couch potatoe.
