While there is a lot of good advice on this thread it also contains a lot of non sense. IMO (we all have them don't we), hehehe I would suggest you go with the 40/30/30 macro that was mentioned earlier and focus your carbs around complex carbs not simple carbs. Carbs are NOT the enemy but everyone has a different response…

I already was on high blood pressure medication and had obstructive sleep apnea...then my Dr. said my EKG was "fairly normal". That was it!!!...my dad died of a heart attack at age 50. I was 43 at the time and didn't want to go down the same road. I'm 49 now and much happier and healthier. God is Good!!!

Here is what works for me and many others...Brush your teeth after dinner and again if you get that urge to eat. Something about brushing your teeth cuts out the wanting to eat again. You're doing great. Keep up the good work.

Yes and No. Like mentioned above...walking that gets your HR elevated counts. Normal walking thru out the day is already a part of your BMR. I like to call it Brisk Walking. I would suggest you Google the different HR zones and adjust your walking to the zone that works best for you.

Super Job!!! Keep it going. When I started running I was doing a 14 min mile. I didn't run to run faster, I ran to get weight off. As the weight came off I got faster. Keep doing what you're doing cuz it's working for you. AWESOME!

You CAN do this. We have all overcome different challenges. I would suggest you brush your teeth around that time and see if that help. Also...drink 20 oz of water...it will fill you up. I saved thousand of $$$ by eating healthy. I no longer have to buy sleep apnea supplies or medications. With that being said you can save loads of money using coupons. Buy the Sunday Paper with all those ads and clip those coupons. You can do it.
