  • Amazing! You look awesome. My workout regimen closely mirrors yours, but I do 10-15 pound weights so I should be well on my way (hopefully)! I am down from a size 8-10 down to a size 4-6, but I am really trying to get toned and defined looking. Good job, you rocked it girl!
  • Awesome! You are so stinkin' cute and I love your hair (in all of your pics)! Great job, you look fabulous!
  • Sounds delicious! I'll have to try this. I have a box of Quinoa in my cabinet!
  • I think I will try this!
  • It took me 5 months to reach my goal weight. 5'3'', SW 148 lbs, GW/CW 130 lbs, size 8-10 to 4-6, (from jan 2012-june 2012). I do lots of cardio, including treadmill, elliptical, crossramp. Classes (spin, zumba, dance, body pump, kickboxing, pilates, etc). Weights and I also do at home dvds plus walk my dogs 2-3 times a…
  • My dogs (Mini Poodles Bianca and Bentley) can nap and lounge anywhere they want in my house (including my sofa, chairs, and bed- as you can see on my profile picture and my tracker). However at bed time they sleep in their own beds in their own room. Simply because my hubby and I would not get any sleep. We would be…
  • I love group fitness! I think they are so much fun and motivates me to work harder even more. Something about seeing others giving it their all, encourages me to do the same. I tell myself, "if they can do it, so can I". I love the thrill of the environment as well. I'm fortunate my gym offers so many classes. The group…
  • I weigh my snacks servings to make sure I am getting the the correct portion size with a small digital kitchen scale. (ie, nuts, chinese noodles, dried fruit, etc). I do count my mini rice cakes (13-15 as the package states), crackers, etc. This way I dont overindulge.
  • Hi I am 38 yrs old (will be 39 in October), 5'3", SW was 148 lb (Jan 2012), I recently met my goal weight of 130lbs (June)! Yay!!! I work out 4-6 days a week (cardio, weights, classes like spin, dance, Zumba, body pump, kickboxing, Pilates). I also do at home dvd workouts. In addition I walk my dogs 2-3 times a day (they…
  • I used to get them off and on from the time I was 15 until about 24. My last one was at the age of 24, I am about to turn 39 in a few months. I would pray to God when I felt the symptoms, turn on some Gospel music and just kep telling myself I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME over and over again,…
  • Awesome! You look fab!
  • When I work out from home I mostly use DVD's. (Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred & Killier Buns and Thighs, Turbo Jam, Billy Blanks, Belly Dancing, Pilates, Step Aerobics and Weights). I also love my Wii (Just Dance 2&3, Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort).
  • Amazing! Great job!
  • I keep FB and MFP separate. On MFP, generally as a whole people can relate and understand the journey of overall health and fitness. Its the one thing we all have in common. In fact, since joining MFP, I'm rarely on FB. The topics here are much more interesting to me.
  • You have done and excellent job and you will meet your goal! I'm so happy your journey has not only inspired your weight loss, but a closer walk with the Lord as well. Remember, when you are weak and feeling dispair, He is your rock. I'm a Christian myself and am a firm believer of that. I commend you, you have come a long…
  • For me it's not a problem. Ever since my healthy lifestyle journey began, I told myself no more overeating! I listen to my body and when I feel full, I stop eating. Currently, if I even think about overeating I would feel so sick and bloated. That's an uncomfortable feeling that is no longer incorporated into my lifestlye;…
  • People who don't understand the healthy lifestyle and why you are doing what you are doing can be 'annoyed' by your devotion and focus. They just don't get it, so to them it's pointless and a waste of time. My mom used to say I was 'obsessed' with working out and logging into MFP, and I'm about to turn 39 years old and my…
  • I made a 'semi-homemade' version LOL I used Hungry Jack buttermilk pancake mix, Chobani Apple and Cinnamon greek yogurt, and a little almond Milk. I the finished pancakes with a little Aguave Nectar. Ummm, Ummm, Good! So flavorful and easy to make.
  • You look beautiful! Fantastic job! I love your clothing!
  • Today I ate pancakes made with apple & cinnamin Chobani greek yogurt, 2 slices of Apple gate farms natural nitrate free turkey bacon and a strawberry/lemon smoothie.
  • This! It's very tasty too! I bought a couple of jars on amazon, in chocolate too. PB2 is delicious! :-)
  • To reach my goal and break my plateau, I did my TDEE - 500 cal deficit to lose. I also wore a heart rate monitor and measured my food for more accurate calorie consumption.
  • You look fabulous!
  • No C-sections, but 3 abdominal sugeries where the incision was vertical and about 9 inches long each time. (last surgery was 7 yrs ago). I am now a size 4-6 & my stomach is finally flat but I still have a tiny pooch. I do lots of cardio and pilates. Ive come a long way but still have a little ways to go. I'm just thankful…
  • For me it was 13 pounds before I had to buy new clothes. I naturally have a small frame, so any loss really made a huge difference. My clothes were hanging, baggy and were just unflattering. I went from a size 10 to a size 4-6. I am loving shopping for new clothes!
  • Awesome congrats! I recently reached my first goal weight also (135 lbs, then very recently my ultimate goal weight of 130lbs). Keep up your good, hard work!
  • FRIED CHICKEN! However now I only eat a small quantity (like once a month). Whereas before I use to eat it at least twice a week! Here and there I sub out my once a month treat and make oven fried chicken, yummy and healthier but can't compare!
