BMI worked for me!! I feel it should be used as a guideline to help you achieve whatever look you desire, this is what it is all about. If you like the way you look and you are in the obese category then so be it and vice versa. Using the BMI help me obtain my goals. Make it about you and your goals. Good Luck!!

RJ, at least you are aware of it.. I think we all fall off sometimes and mentally have to start over. I just started over this week, so be strong and re-establish the motivation. Dont waste time beating yourself up, just do it. Good Luck MFP!!

Been gone for a while but glad to be back. Was kind of in a funk and not motivated because of my knees. So yes, Skyy vodka and some 1800 tequila shots a couple of times a week. Running is my greatest motivation and I was unable to. I went to the doctor Monday and was diagnosed with jumpers knee. Doc says it will heal…

Got my 10 glasses of water in already to help counter dehydration, lol. It seems not only are weekends difficult but the holidays make it feel like it is the weekend for a month. Gesh, everybody wants cocktails and food. I look at it this way, at least we are the ones who care about what we have done and what we need to do…

Am I wrong for thinking and calculating calories so I can drink? I found myself today thinking about how much food I could eat, my approximate "lushing after dark" and what I needed to do before lushing if at all to gain more calories. Whoa, this is like premeditated lushing, lol Happy Weekend Lushes:drinker: :drinker:…

I have the Body Champ BRM3600 Stride Cycle which is absolutely wonderful.. Academy for 250. It gives you the elliptical standing option and the bicyle seated option which i love. I go back and forth on it to mix up my workout.

albiet my portions are likely way too big…and my metabolism way too slow! Seems to me you have the answers and just need to apply them more. It is always going to be a sacrifice, it is what you are willing to give up to obtain those goals. Are you using the suggested values MFP has assigned to you? Are you going over on…

Good Luck to you Danar and welcome.. This site will serve you well. Bunch of good people here for support, information and motivation.

Randy, I use JEFIT. Very good app that I have found to be very useful for my needs similar to yours. Hope this helps!!!

Seems to me I read something like that becoming a requirement and now some are already adding to their DV% food label... I will try and find it to post.

3500 is difficult to obtain, however i too supplement and also I try to drink one 11.5 low sodium v8, 1180k. Doing this, I generally make it to at least 2500 a day. Sometimes on a day where i have eaten other potassium rich foods, bake potatoes, bananas etc., i make the goal. Good Luck!!

This thread is so cool, I wish I knew you all personally, Cheers Fellow Lushes:drinker:

Cardio is the key I have found. Any abs exercises will aide in the mid section but cardio, varied cardio, has given me much success in that regard. Hope this is helpful!!

Yes, it is wise to take at least one day off and let your body recover fully. This is somewhat like a healing process. I have found this is when I gain strength. Just a lil tid bit

When in doubt, get it checked out is the rule of thumb I go by. Dont wait til something small becomes something big. Breathing is already a big deal!! Go see a doctor!!:glasses:

More than likely a little muscle gain along with some water weight. Do you have a scale that gives water weight also? Something to think about? Hope this helps!! Good Luck! Also 2 weeks, a lot a people show gain before the actual loss begans
-
In the database it serves as a general guide probably the lowest amount a person would burn. I would use the actual treadmill readings as it is more accurate with the settings/pace/incline etc.
