Deep fried snickers. My diabetes is already punching me in the face for even thinking about it but i dont care.

interesting, although I doubt I could stomach drinking your magic elixir!

I agree with the nutritionist. When I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes I had one, and then two years later when I developed type 2 I saw one for about 6 months ( I realize I am lucky and have great insurance). I was recording everything I ate, limiting carbs to 60 mg or under at meals (preferably under 45), and…

As a Type 2, I eat a lot of fruit actually. I try to eat a lot of berries, which tend to be lower in carbs, but I usually eat a piece of fruit with my breakfast or as a snack. For breakfast I usually pair it with high protein greek yogurt or cottage cheese. Sometimes as a snack I will pair with a small piece of cheese or…

Are you lifting weights? You may want to incorporate that into your fitness routine.

Please remember that once you do start to change, you won't see results right away. Some of us started out and worked out for a week and got discouraged. It takes much longer than that to see progress and results. Take one day at a time. Don't beat yourself up if you need a break but get back up and dust yourself off and…

I have had some people talk to me about it for joint health and for skin. I did some research and the research I found seemed to be positive, or at leas that it's not harmful so I wanted to see what others may have experienced.

Yikes, I'm sorry, I started dropping about a week post partum due to EBF but packed on the pounds one we got down to one feeding a day. I guess we are all wired differently!

The birthday cake and lemon cake flavors are terrible.

veggie omlets. well any type of omlet really, or a frittata, I have made quite a few for dinner. You can really put whatever you want.
-
Maybe not once a week but often enough! I am diabetic so I have to watch the carbs but I definitely indulge in it!
-
You should do both. There are plenty of workout routines that incorporate both strength training and cardio.

I'm diabetic so its necessary for me to cut carbs...but think high protein foods like cheese, eggs, nuts, but these foods you have to watch the calorie content in them also...but also green leafy vegetables, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, etc...you get the idea

Any of the beachbody programs. You can get beachbody on demand for an annual fee that's comparable to a gym fee (probably a little cheaper) and you will have access to all of their hundreds of workout programs. Shaun T is my favorite!

I've been taking metformin since July for diabetes and within 2 months of taking it my cholesterol went down 50 points. I'd take it if I were you..

I'm tired just reading all you do in a day..

Second nature trail mixes. My fave is the celebration medley.

I'm not sure what reactive hypoglycemia is, but I know as a diabetic, I eat snacks between meals to keep my sugar stable. Prior to being diabetic, I noticed if I went more than 4 hours without eating I would get the shakes.

And I'm 5'8" and when I weighed 135 I wore a 9/10. I hate going by sizes, I try not to even worry about that anymore.

When I no longer have a toddler, I'll stop drinking

I lost almost 30 lbs by cutting carbs. I had to because I got diagnosed with Diabetes and it scared the hell out of me. I cut out soda and sweet tea and drastically changed my snacking habits. I went from snacking on chips and candy to yogurt, carrot sticks and fruit. While you don't HAVE to cut carbs to lose weight, its…

I agree with this. I drink a cup of coffee before I work out. When I did bootcamp int the morning years ago, I would either have a small piece of cheese and a pretzel or a pre-workout formula. I honestly think when you work out and if you need to have something in your stomach are personal preference. I prefer working out…

Honestly, therapy.
