  • Yes, my calorie goal is 1200 as well. You get to more eat more calories if you are exercising. Be sure to use those. I don't bother with the 100 calorie packs of snacks as they are not filling. Choose healthy filling foods. Most vegetables have hardly any calories. Add them to every meal. Stick with it and don't get…
  • Feel free to add me. I am always looking for motivation and also give it in return. Like you I have been on and off this for awhile. I have been on since January, and I have had some success losing weight and getting healthy. It is coming off slow, but this is a lifestyle change so I am ok with it.
  • Feel free to add me too. I have 37 pounds still to go. I have lost 20.
  • Feel free to add me. I lost 43 pounds last year and gained 40 back! I was so upset I let myself go when I was so close to my goal. I am back in the game and have lost 20 pounds. I am determined to make healthy eating and exercise my lifestyle! I try motivate others going through the same journey as me!
  • So I did not totally meet the challenge. I ate only 6 salads and did not make 7 cup of green vegetables. I did eat at least 7 cups of other vegetables though. I am down to 180.2 as of this morning. Although I did not make the challenge in its entirety, I feel good about last week. I ate healthy and exercised 6 days as is…
  • My only advice would be to make smaller goals and work towards the bigger goal of 100lbs. You will want to feel the little accomplishments to keep you motivated to make this a lifestyle change. It is good to have friends on here to hold you accountable as well as give you support. Stay motivated and good luck on your…
  • Hello Everyone! I was wondering if we would like to check in weekly. Perhaps have weekly challenges to keep us updated. Let me know what you think.

  • Hello! I am 5"2" and currently 182.8. My goal is 135. My highest weight has been 194. I lost 43 pounds last year and gained it all back by resorting to old habits. I am determined to take it off and keep it off. I love running and working out. Unfortunately, sometimes I make really good excuses not to stay active. I have 3…

  • Apparently all of your friends must not see well. You look amazing! Keep it up! :)
  • I put three chicken breast on the bottom of a crockpot. I add a jar of salsa, packet of taco seasoning, 2 cans of black beans, and 2 cans of corn. I put it in the crockpot for 8 hours on low. You can put it on a whole wheat tortilla or add a couple cans of chicken broth and eat it like a chili. It is delicious!
  • My weakness is my husband! He can eat whatever he wants and not gain weight. Ok, so I guess it's not him as it is that I enjoy all fattening foods. We both enjoy buffalo chicken wings, fries dipped and ranch...and other high fat/calorie foods. Sometimes I get in this rut...eating large portions of these foods. The…
  • This looks amazing! I'm going to have to try this! Thanks!
  • I add it to my spinach smoothie every morning. I also use it by taking a frozen banana and whip it in a a food processor until it is the creamy texture of ice cream. I add the pb2 (mixed with the water). It tastes like peanut butter ice cream...delicious!
  • On the weekends, I like to prepare soups that can last me all week. This week I did the hungry girl buffalo chicken chili which was amazing. I also like to get a flat out light wrap...put a 100 calorie guacamole pack and add cucumber, spinach, and red peppers/ It is so full of flavor. You can add turkey if you like, but it…
  • I love to chop up red peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers and avocados. I add a little reduced fat feta and mix together. It is delicious! I eat is at a meal. I also like roasted cabbage. Cut the cabbage into wedge abd brush a little olive oil on each wedge. Add salt, pepper and fennel seeds (you don't have to add the fennel) and…
  • These sound amazing!
  • Your story gave me chills! That is so wonderful. You are an amazing woman. Where there is His will, there's a way. Don't give up!
  • My favorite is protein ranch. You put 1 cup of reduced fat cottage cheese, 1/4 cup water, and 3 teaspoons of the Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix in a blender. You blend it and it tastes almost exactly like the regular ranch! There are 55 calories in 1/4 cup and tons of protein! I just started making this and will be…
  • Feel free to add me. I had about 62 pounds to lose. I have lost almost 30 pounds through the help of MFP! I love to give motivation as well as receive support!
  • You look amazing! My goal is 62 pounds. I am almost halfway there. My reward is a breast lift as well! I really need it! Great job reaching your goal!
  • I love it! This is so true! I have wanted it for so long, and I am finally doing something about it!
  • You can do it! Feel free to add me! I am hoping to lose about the same by the end of the year. My goal when I started in May was to lose 62 pounds by the end of the year. I have lost 24 so I have 38 more to go! I haven't been at or close to my goal weight in a long time, but I am determined to get there!
  • Try to eat more filling foods. Make sure you are getting your vegetables. They have so few calories, but are good filling foods. If you have a spinach salad, it is amazing how much you can eat for very few calories. If you get a good work out you can add additional calories!
  • I would say allow yourself to have a good time. It doesn't mean you go crazy. I have always had the problem of using food as a reward and "going out" meaning I have to eat bad. I think if you eat, try to make it sensible...it can still be delicious. You may have to just keep saying that to yourself. Let loose and…

  • I am 5'2". I have many pounds to shred so a challenge will help me keep the motivation! I am in! Feel free to add me as a friend.
  • I am 37 and have been carrying extra weight for the past ten years. I have three boys...9, 8, and 4. I also failed weight watchers! :) I am trying to keep motivated and could definitely use some support as well.
  • I understand where you are. It is really frustrating. Don't let it bring you down. Put your head up and continue to do what you are doing. Maybe add a few more workouts per week as well. If you stick with it, the weight will come off.
  • It sounds like you are really determined. Getting in the mind set is the first step. It sounds like you are there! I have been struggling with weight for the last ten years since having kids. I lose 20 pounds then gain it back. It is so frustrating. This is my first time on MFP, and I love it! Good luck!
