  • I'm trained as an NP (but no longer practice) and I've suddenly been getting these headaches much more frequently so I talked with some of my colleagues and basically it's related to dilated blood vessels in the brain. If you never had them before, you should have an MRI or other imaging to make sure you don't have any…
  • Really so amazing! Love reading it and seeing how well you've done! PS. Your ticker is epic ;)
  • Wow @merse81 a full MONTH for a honeymoon? That would be amazing! And I would need to be rolled onto the plane home! Good luck on your journey!
  • Well I went to the gym yesterday for the first time in about 8 months and I'm down 2lbs this morning! I realize that might not stick with me but that's some serious motivation! I was hoping to try another class this morning since I'm just trying out a gym for the week but I'm so sore! I think yoga this evening instead...…
  • I'm just back on today after being off for over a year. I definitely need the support! Time to get dialed back in.
  • I love that show! I can't wait for it to come back. The little clips they've been putting up are such a tease!
  • Thanks for the suggestions. I have p90x, but I'm bored with the dvds. Has anyone done Turbo Fire? Do you jump around a lot with it?

  • You look so great! Congrats on all your success! I love the lilac dress! Where did you get it? Brand? I want one!

  • I get exertion headaches which are rare but more likely in people who have migraines. Basically I've learned that I really need to watch my heart rate. For me the magic number is 190. If I push it that hard even for a few seconds I end up with a headache that becomes a migraine later in the day. No fun. Not like I really…
  • Screen name: husker311 Goal for March 31st: 174lb March1st (starting weight):184 March 8th: March 15th: March 22nd: March 29th: March 31st: Originally my goal was to be 172 by my birthday which is March 15th but at this point I really don't think I can hit that. One thing I've really wanted is to be smaller than my bf who…
  • I agree with Karencakes. I love Enell bras! It's tight and almost hard to put on but the girls don't move an inch! I can run, jump, do just about anything. Definitely recommend them!
  • love it! Tasty more natural gatorade!
  • Alcohol has a lot of empty calories but if you really love it and aren't having a problem losing weight than I don't think it's an issue in moderation. I LOVE wine and I can't give it up totally. I've cut back significantly but I still have a glass a couple times a week for dinner or if we go out. Occasionally I go a month…
  • You look great! I'm totally jealous! When I weighed 203 I was a size 16 and now at 185 I still can't wear a 12! So strange how we all carry it so different. Really good job though!
  • I'm currently doing Clean which is a cleanse by Dr. Alejandro Junger. (Book named the same). So far so good and even though it's not targeted for weight loss I am losing! Very strict on what you can eat but I read a lot of reviews and people really seemed to like it.

  • Basically you have a scheduled workout everyday for 90 days with 3 phases which mean slightly different workouts in each phase. On the schedule you do a strength training workout, plyometrics, strength training, yoga, strength training, kenpo and then stretch or rest the last day. Repeat for 3 weeks then a rest week where…
  • Thanks guys! And I found p90 on craigslist for 75 so you could check there. Definitely a good investment plus you do need to have hand weights or bands and a mat.
  • I haven't tried them but they work by blocking the absorption of fat in the intestine so one of the biggest side effects are fatty stools and gas. The biggest thing I've heard is that you end up gaining it all back as soon as you stop since you immediately start absorbing all the fat again in your food.
  • Very cute dress! That's so great!
  • Thanks for all the suggestions guys! I will definitely be looking for some of these videos. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like this!
  • I did it about 3 years ago. With that and Curves I lost about 30lbs but I did gain in back within about a year after quitting the program. It's really all about portion control and tracking your food. For me it helped that I was accountable to someone. I had to actually physically walk in and be weighed every week. So I…
  • Yeah I own the book as well as several of the cookbooks. We've been doing a modified version of the Eat Clean diet since last year. Clean is actually a 3 week cleanse so it's really different. I'm going to buy the book tonight and see what I think. Maybe I'll try it and post about it later! Thanks for the suggestion though!
  • Wow! No one? I'm kind of surprised....
  • Yeah I had a whole variety of things last night but I'm going to try to give up alcohol for the month of Jan. Except for my anniversary on Thurs! lol We need wine for that! Really good wine! Good idea for a group. Seems like everyone says to give up alcohol but really I just enjoy a drink too much! I know I need to cut…
  • Thanks for the suggestions. I'm not sure how my gym would feel if I brought chalk into a classroom though since it's used for all the classes. The pull up bar share with my bf has foam padding on it so I'm doubting it would help there either. I really hate the calluses so I guess I'll just have to keep scrubbing them off…
  • Congrats on your success! You look great!
  • Thanks for all the responses guys! I'll keep going and make sure I take my measurements instead of relying on weight change for a while!
