I have a set from Plantronics. Love them. I don't have to worry about getting my hand stuck in a long cord because they wrap closely around the back of your head. I bought mine quite a few years ago, when there weren't as many options. Definitely do some research. I know I even have difficulty with my iPhone 5 issue…

I have both. I've had my Polar F11 a lot longer than my FitBit Force, but I find my FitBit tends to make me get off my butt more because I can wear it all the time. The Polar isn't for extended use and is good for when I'm exercising.

They took it off the market because it was causing burns on some people.

Check your iron intake. If it's low, you should try to eat more iron rich foods (try to stay away from supplements because they cause constipation) combined with vitamin C for better iron absorption. Low iron stores can cause sleepiness.

I bought a Fitbit Force at the beginning of this month. I enjoy it because it lets me know how much/often I'm moving around. Which is good, because I work a 10hr a day desk job, so some days I don't move much (yesterday I took 576 steps in 10 hours - i work from home so I don't have to go far to use the facilities).…

create your own exercise in the database called Body Pump for easier tracking (if you track such things)

everyone needs a massage!

I usually get close to 500 in 45 mins with my HRM, so it seems like a reasonable burn to me.

i do not see it as a full body workout. in a majority of the cases, it's going to be more along the lines of a treadmill workout, without the impact on your knees. if it has an adjustable ramp, you'll get a little extra booty workout, but that's about it. the arm movement, imo, only gets your heart rate up.

You didn't read the whole post. The OP stated that unless you are under doctor supervision, it's a dangerous road to follow.

When my daughter was hospitalized, my husband and I walked laps around the hospital campus (it was at a University so it was quite a large campus with a lot of indoor spaces to do some walking).

We went to the planetarium last week and the guy giving the presentation said, some Anglo decided that because December 21 is 13-0-0-0-0 on the Mayan Calendar that it's a bad omen and that the world will end.

how large is the "scoop" of ice cream?

Mostly you are referencing instant oats. Whole oats take a bit longer than 5 mins to cook.

1, How long did you plan? 3ish months 2. How much did you spend? Was this more/less than you planned? Can't recall wasn't much though. 3. Shiba Inu named Kaya & a Pug named Genji (both females) - couldn't get two more different dogs if I tried again. The Shiba is always on the move and the Pug..... not so much

the person that did that to your child should be ashamed of themselves! how sad to yell at a child in that way, especially when it's a child you do not know! we just got both our kids iPhones(ages 12 & 14 - 14yo had a previous phone that she took extremely good care of for 2 years - not a scratch on it). a 3GS is 99 cents…

I do. I use to make my husband laugh telling him I look like I have three sets of boobs. The only thing you can do is keep on keepin' on and get rid of the fat. Build up some muscle underneath and hopefully it'll go away.

Take your car maintenance in your own hands. In most shops, if you ask them to show you the dipstick showing you the oil on it, they'll show you. It's not a crime to ask them to do it. Make sure they clean it off while you're watching and then stick it back in the engine and then show you the oil level. If they just pull…

Good luck @ Grandma's! The finish line is 20 mins from my house.

Don't be afraid to try a 5k, there are many many people that speed walk the courses. You could throw a little running in there to speed yourself up too. It's a good way to build endurance if you're not interested in the C25K program.

I've had stretch marks on my thighs & boobs since I was 10 and had a lovely 5 inch growth spurt in 3 months and my boobs miraculously appeared overnight (from flat to a C cup. ugh). So when I got the ones on my lower belly from having my kids it didn't really phase me. The ones on my lower back however, I got from being…

It sounds like she's not ready to face facts. Unfortunately, until the person is ready, there isn't much you can do. For your own sanity, it might be best for you to stop listening to her excuses.

I see you're teaching him to eat well, I also wouldn't count calories at this point. However, you mention homeschooling. What type of activities do you do during school that aren't book related? Try to think of something fun for him to do that will give him a reward that isn't focused on his weight. When my son was in the…
