  • :drinker: Thanks Guys, i can honestly say I was shrieking on the scales this morning, my fiance thought i saw a spider or something. I couldnt have done this without MFP and the support of all you guys! Ill try and put up some pics soon. I wasnt great at taking them but ill see if i can find a few!
  • Moved to Australia and put on 14pounds in the first few months. Gutted as I was already unhappy with my weight to begin with. Started on MFP in January 2013 after weighing myself and finding I had hit an all time high of 70kgs (or 11 stone). Didnt do much exercise but stuck to the points and lost the first 10kgs pretty…
  • You look amazing, you should be really really proud of yourself, well done!

  • Thank you for the advice, im on my last 2kgs and they have been a struggle, no matter what i do this month, the scales will not go down. You are right though, its not just this month its forever into the future, Thank you for the reminder I was honestly losing my resolve :flowerforyou:
  • Your weight will always go up and down. Seriously the one thing to do is to stick with it. Keep going back and try hard to stay within the calories. Alot of the time you go up and down its due to Water. I have also noticed that no matter what when I have my period i put on 1kg, without fail....every time. And once the week…
  • Brilliant work, you look amazing!!
  • An average two year old!! Oh my god that seems insane!
  • I hope to be adding to this board soon, such an inspiration! Wow! keep up the amazing work
  • in my experience being consistent is the key with MFP. You say you followed it for two weeks and then fell back into old habits? In the week that you were back to normal did you not perhaps eat a bit more in the whole "man I have missed you lovely chocolate" kind of way? Im just guessing but if I slipped back for a whole…
  • 30y/o 5'7 sw- 155 cw- 130.5 gw- 125 I have struggled with my weight (disorders :grumble: ) for years since i was 14. This has been the first time I have done a weight loss plan in a healthy way. I love this app. I have lost weight but still I am eating. Its brilliant. Good luck to all the lovely ladies on this feed.…
  • For me I just stuck to the calorie counter. Im not a fitness buff and dont want to be! I have been really happy with the progress and i have only 3kg to go. I started (uk sizing) at a very tight size 10 and now im buying 8's. I have from from a land of stone...i started at 11 stone and currently im below 9.5 stone. Im 5.7…
  • My Fiance is doing MFP too, but not as to the point as I am. When I try to stay within my calorie allowance and he has had a bad food day, he keeps on about how we cant let this thing rule our lives. But on a good day he is sitting beside me trying to be more healthy too! It really pains me as I have been battling Ana and…
  • Even if the food is good for you they all have calories. I personnally dont do much exercise which means im really strict with all foods. Eating fruit is great but yes you have to count them in your total. Just add a little exercise and you can eat them no problems
  • On crackers with Tuna, Tomatoes and a half a ton of pepper...yum! Acts like a mayonaise without half the calories
  • Ordered mine at the start of Nov and the wedding is in July. I have since lost 19lbs but the dress (arriving in April) was tight on the day and the shop suggested i could go up a size but I stuck to my guns. So still want to lose a bit more, so you might want to do what I did and buy a dress a little too tight (just a…
  • I started on the 4th of January and so far ive lost 19lbs. I sit at a desk all day and hate exercise! So...when I know there is a big meal coming - a celebration of a birthday or anniversary or something - I go for a long walk or hit a treadmill for an hour and just eat away. Most of the time I just keep within the…
  • The quote is 'nothing tastes as good as skinny feels' and it comes from Kate Moss. I used to be an Ana and also a Mia, and if im really honest with myself, Mia up until i started MFP a few months ago. Its been the longest I have gone without in years. I can understand the meaning behind it though cant you? I know when I…
  • Its sad that I never thought of that before. You are so right. I think my Tea drinking days are set to continue for quite some time! Thanks guys, much appreciate! :drinker:

  • I hear you...have mine at the moment and its my first negative weigh in...ie. according to the scales i put on a 1kg. Its so disheartening!
  • Born and raised in Clare, Colleged in Cork...met himself there (also from cork) recently moved to Oz. Coming back for the wedding though...sure you'd have to! :drinker:
  • I log food in before i eat it, its especially good when you calculate everything and you find you have a few hundred calories left for the day. Thats when I treat myself to a small snack bar and a nice cup of tea! Makes this diet seem less of a diet if chocolate is still in my life :)
  • I went for a couple of fittings in different places - always shop around! On the second day of about seven in total i tried on my now wedding dress. I knew it was the one because I kept refering to it as I tried on other dresses...ie: its nice but its not like the other one in that there is X& Y etc. I was between two and…
  • Also getting marrried on the 27th of July and im determined to be nice and thin for it! I havent been doing any exercise and i know that will come back at me soon so today is day one and im trying out yoga! I have lost 8kgs so far and im aiming for another 5. I have already bought the dress so I dont want to have to take…
  • Thanks for all the advice guys! Tonight is going to be my first attempt at yoga so i think its safe to say it will be a timid one and im hoping I will like it! Fingers crossed it will go well.
