Thank you SO MUCH. I'll put something under the weights and see how that feels. Thank you again! :')

Please help: Video quality is bad so not sure if you can even see my form. Deadlift: The first two are 30kg and the last is 40. So. WTF am I doing wrong cos I still have back pain after foam rolling, streching, praying for it to stop (this worked better than the first two) and my doctor saying that there is no hernia. I'm…

YES! It's almost the same as the one I had. I wonder if there is one like this with kg. Otherwise, I'll just convert the lb myself. Thank you.

Tossing the yolk is like tossing protein powder away in the garbage. Of course, the yolk protein is much cheaper and tastes better. Also, I think that birds like the yolk so if you hate it, you can give it to them.

These pictures are all so great, there is not only a physical change but even an emotional one. Looking AND feeling strong! Amazing, I'm going to snap some pictures now as well!

Thank you very much for all your tips. I will try ice and resting a bit more. Of course I'm not going to lift as much as last time right away and will strech less. In fact, I hadn't even noticed in how much in pain I am when I do Yoga, even why the teacher is always saying 'GO ONLY AS FAR AS YOU CAN GO'. What can I say, I…

Hi! :) The pain is in my low back, sacrum to be more precise. When I'm sitting or standing it feels like a mild burn and it hurts lightly when I bend forward. I forgot to mention that I do a lot of Yoga too and maybe going to far with the streches. I did check with my GP who told me that as I am a woman, I shouldn't lift…

Ex-lurker: Hi ladies, I want to share my journey so far and ask for insight in my progress. I started lifting in July, at first 3 times a week alternating A/B and after 4 weeks just twice a week (squat/bench and deadlift/oph) because it was getting too hard and I had back pain (I have no idea why, my form felt good and I…

Bless this post.

I think that Leg Day is when you work to bulk/strenghen your legs which happens when you squat. I'd say sprinting instead of running for a long time is a Leg Day. I could be wrong though. *shrug

I've just started to jump rope and compared to plyo and HIIT, I'd say it's just as hard or harder. If you like it, it's a very good workout.

I like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brQXWqlI_NQ Easy and the teacher is very calming.

Mine seem fine. It must a problem with the food you're tracking. Before logging anything, I check the data with some other website (like USDA Nutritive Value of Foods) to check if the entry for the food is correct. That's the one thing I disliked about MFP when I started but now I got it all sorted out. (Also, I try to use…

I HAVE TEARS IN MY EYES. THIS THREAD ROCKS!

Just the normal multivitamin and iron. I used to take calcium, magnesium, protein powder (whey isolate) and ginseng in the past but because of financial problems, I haven't been taking them for about 3 months. I feel no different and my fitness gains have been almost the same (if not better).

Welcome to the group girl! Been there done that, never looking back to 1200 that got me sick. I advise you to run blood tests for anemia if you're been into 1200 for more than 3 months. 1730 seems like a very good number for both workout and non-workout days. But imo, since you have so little to lose, you should log food…

I've done his workouts for about 6 months and I'm never going back. I became overtrained and injured, lost only 2lbs and gave up. The only one I liked and that gave me results are The Biggest Loser dvds. I lost 6lbs in a month doing them 5 days a week.

I have the exact same problem and I managed to solve it like this: weight training + eating in 250cal deficit. Careful with the carbs, do not let them exceed 55% of total calories and try to get more protein. Also, I tried 'more cardio'. It works for a month, then you get your fat all back. Building muscle on the other…

You don't need Insanity to change your life. There are LOTS of other dvds to try. I agree that P90X(-plyo and being careful with Legs&Back) is much better. P90 and P90Master series are also a good alternative. There should be others but i haven't tried anything else. I had knee injurie last year from doing lunges even with…

Thank you. I decided to let those numbers like they are, no point in changing them now. ...I'm just glad I can eat more than 2tbps of oats to be quite honest.
-
(we have very similiar body shapes lol) I can see BIG change but a side shot would probably show a lot more.
-
When I say I can't afford one right now, I'm not kidding.
-
Problem is, I don't have an accurate scale and I can't afford to buy another now. That's why I'm trying to measure with spoons.
-
I have 23% of bodyfat and I look worse than the 25% picture. Oh well...

Completely out of topic, but for how much did you ladies lift to go to 20lbs dumbbell bicep curl? I've been lifting for about a year and I can't go beyond the 15lbs.
-
I've done P90 and P90X: the idea in both is to follow the plan. If you can do two workouts of P90 in one day and feel fine, then it's time to up the intensity to P90Master or P90X. I do not reccomend Insanity to anyone that is trying to lose a lot of weight btw.

Hormones do not work the same way on everyone. You might get some of the side effects, all of them or none. That's how drugs usually work. I've been a couple of months on combined pill with levonorgestrel and I gained a lot of muscle (and fat). It had this anabolisant effect on me.

So I had a sore throat a couple of weeks ago and I wasn't feeling all that bad (no fever). I worked out as usual and the next day I was down with a cold. I have the feeling that working out mde it worse. Do not work out if you think you are getting a flu. I've also tried starting to work out as soon as I get better and…

Startin' to look sexy there! I've seen how much effort you're putting into this and I thank you for being my motivator to keep on pushing play. :D

I couldn't decide on a dress yesterday because there was nothing in between size 8 and 10. I do enter in a size 8 but it's a bit tiiiight! lol Motivation? Yes, it is.
