As much as I wanted to eat a cheeseburger or something really "bad" today for lunch. I ate my Italian salad instead knowing the nutrients were good for my body.

I don't have kids but a super picky eater of a boyfriend! So I feel ya! I use Pinterest A LOT. I alter the recipes to his liking and a lot of the time make myself a veggie on the side. You can still make the food they like, just better versions of them. Pinterest is great for it.

I completely agree, don't limit yourself to only "breakfast foods" as most breakfast foods are high in carbs and low in protein (I've come to realize). I enjoy brown rice with scrambled eggs and lots of veggies. I mix this up on Monday morning and have it all week long but it keeps me super satisfied until lunch. Next week…

You could find any recipe you like and divide it up for portions each day during the week. That's what I do that way I don't ever get sick of the same thing every week. Lots of great recipes on Pinterest.

I make brown rice with egg and veggies. Would be hard to eat for you though since you can't warm it up. Otherwise hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cottage cheese with fruit.

I meal prep my lunches on Sundays, I have to otherwise I set myself up for failure. I plan quick healthy food for breakfast as well. I don't mind eating the same thing for lunch because I have a fruit or something else with it to make it different each day and dinner is always different but I also plan out those recipes…

Stress, not prepping food, lack of motivation to MOVE. When I get sick that puts me out of sync too. If I don't see progress I tend to get frustrated and give up.

Totally agree!! I've made egg salad sandwiches or hot ham and cheese on whole wheat buns for breakfast, it actually sticks with me until lunch not like a lot of "breakfast" items that are just sugary carbs.
