Whether or not the good Doctor is a quack or not, I believe he is sincere. That being said I also believe that if you are doing a cleanse for whatever reason that three days is just not enough. Three days and you are just getting started. I think its a decent start but it just isn't long enough to be very effective.

Good luck!

I've heard that an incline of one better helps simulate the work done outside. I would just follow the program like it is using either seconds or distance. No reason it shouldn't work the same inside or out. :-)

The resistance bands are a good idea. I love the kettlebell. Its quick. Its a great whole body workout, etc. And you can do it anywhere. I know running is probably out but walking is good too. Yoga. Pilates. Krav Maga. Crossfit. The trick is finding something you like and can be passionate about.

I too bow to all the people out there giving it their best. I'm right there with you. Like they say, If you do a mile in 7 minutes or 20 minutes, its still a mile. I'm proud to cheer for all of you!

I'd take some Advil or something for the soreness. It'll get better. Your diary looks good to me. If I did anything I would move that protein shake to first thing in the morning from dinner. It'll help get your metabolism going and stoked for the day.

FABULOUS! Way to go! :-)

WOW! Fantastic job!

I like the Hal Higdon site. Lots of info and programs there. Good luck!

I'd go by the directions on the bottle with the multi vitamin. Maybe take your B and D twice a day separate from your multi. CoQ10 is good in the morning and then on training days after workouts. ALA with your meals. Not sure on the carnitine. Additionally I take my B after exercise (also a C) to help replace the energy…

I agree with everyone else. Couch to 5 K program and go slow. I ran for the first time about 9 months ago. Yesterday I went out for 5 miles. I didn't run the whole way but I ran a lot of it. Even if I am slow, I'm still faster than me sitting on the couch. Good luck!

You could maybe try gloves or they have lifting straps that can help your grip. They wrap around your wrist and then you'd wrap them around the bell.
-
You could maybe wear a heart rate monitor or a pedometer and go by that.

YAY!

I just tried Oxyelite pro with very little results. Bad part was the energy crash for two days when I stopped.

Way to go!

You're doing an AWESOME job! I think our partners eventually see it but being too close they don't notice the big picture. The light will come on I am sure. Keep being a good example. :-)

I have an Omron HJ-12 that's pretty good and reasonably priced.

Its just optional for Sundays.

A B vitamin complex can help too. Your local health shop may have some specifically for hair. Plus there are shampoos and conditioners with the B's in them that can help

I'm starting week 5 tomorrow. Good luck to you!

Yep, no magic about it. "Just push play. Do your best and forget the rest..." Sometimes looking at the whole 90 days is just too much. Think about just 30 days, or a week. Small bites are easier to swallow.

The 15-30 minute window has to do with the extra blood pumping to your muscles. Not necessary but something you should try and do to take advantage of this. And I agree, 4:1 is a good ratio post workout.

One of my happiest moments was completing my first and third races. So for me it was accomplishing a goal more than the run itself.

YAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!

I'd go just back to normal instead of trying to make up for it all in one shot. Except I would make sure I got plenty of water in. Maybe even extra water. We all have crazy days. Its a journey, a lifestyle, not a quick fix. Good luck!

Weigh yourself at home with and without your clothes on and note the difference.

I'm not a mom but... I write out my schedule every week then write in the exercise when it works best and try and stick with it. And I use my days off for the longer or harder sessions. Good luck!

If you really want to do it you have to make it a priority. Its not easy and anyone who implies it is is wrong. But it is worth it. You CAN do it. Good luck!
