Dude, that was awesome and brutal. Great job!

lol Oh man, my wallet is so happy I haven't made a trip to the game shop lately.

I apparently was completely high or something when I said this. More like 20. >.< Great work to those kicking butt!

If you have room and are willing to spend a little more upfront a basic squat cage, a decent barbell and a flat bench will take you a really long ways. You can bench in the cage and have built in catches as well as being able to easily squat & OHP. I bought a bench from Sears a few years back and it's alright. I believe…

Glad to see this is progressing! I've been slacking a bit myself so good to see folks punishing themselves, er, pushing themselves to get some motivation going.

Yup, totally possible. For me, it really wouldn't even be hard to do sadly. :( But the folks above me covered it well so I'd suggest taking their advice and wish you good luck!

That's just so many reps. lol Nice work!

My cats have gotten into my routine. Well, one of them. Even though there's still food in the bowl she's always coming into the bedroom wondering "Why are you not topping it off?" from about 3:50 on. lol

Pretty much. My alarm is on the other side of the room and I don't want my wife killing me so I have to get up to turn it off. I generally wake up without it now which is nice. Then I already have everything ready to go. Gym clothes in the bathroom. Pre-workout in the fridge and I start sucking it down right away for the…

Good luck. I remember you and JoRocka discussing this in another thread and it sounds absolutely insane. Good insane, but insane. In for the follow and man, if I ever feel like really hating life I think I might give it a shot.

I have nothing to add of my own, everything is a battle right now it seems. Great lifts in here and so much silliness. @McCloud33 the leaping from bar to bar is great. I'm pretty sure my lack of any sort of coordination would kill me trying that.

Your solutions, they make sense to me. :)

Roughly 60-75 minutes. My wife is doing a program I worked up based off 5x5 and it takes her ~25-30 minutes.

Great pull @gabbiil

Thanks @nakedraygun ! Yeah, I was getting pretty spent. lol And @Aliciaaah .......nice pull! 10# more than I've ever done yet! That is a heck of a pull!

They typically have more than just caffeine in them, but yeah, its just a bunch of stimulants for the most part. I use one because I go to the gym pretty early in the morning and don't have time to wait for coffee to cool to drinkable levels. (I don't really enjoy cold coffee, I've tried that too.) So I use a pre-workout.…

I haz a video! Brought to you by Zao, near crippling anxiety, a complete large pizza eaten last night (I don't recommend this) and umm...the letter 7. First video attempt. Obviously the angle is wrong and I didn't realize that at the gym this morning. Oh well. (Seriously, how did I get it cockeyed? lol) 275x8. Only my 2nd…

Here's another stupid thing I did: Entered a mountain bike race with zero real training. 1998, Crested Butte Fat Tire Festival. I was 18 and had been working at a camp in Colorado and a bunch of my friends were riding it. I'm from Illinois and am a roadie. I'd been doing some mountain biking, but I'm not a great bike…

That's more what I'm about!

You're a sick individual @McCloud33 lol Nice!

Wow, great lifts! Awesome job!

Wow, @_incogNEATo_ ! Great job!

Don't give up hope! Some suggestions to consider: Calories/Eating- Try sticking to your daily goals for 2 weeks straight. If after 2 weeks you're dying for a a little bit of cheating, go a few hundred over, then aim for another 2 weeks straight. If you aren't dying for a little extra, see how long you can keep rolling…

Awesome lifts @JeffFit70

Ya know, I hadn't even realized that, but considering now, that's 100% what it was. I mean, yeah, my muscles were tired but it was definitely my CNS shutting me down saying "Nope nope nope, I don't like this at all!" lol The body is a strange and wonderful thing. Two meets 3 weeks apart @nakedraygun that was quite the…

I love this thread. It could've gone so horribly, it tried to go horribly and yet, it has been salvaged. Great work OP for being such an awesome sport and for most everybody having a good time with things. Also, is someone handing out steak? Where do I sign up? And this is what matters! @singingflutelady Oh my goodness…

That's awesome @Iron_Miss_Canada ! Great lift. I'd say a certifiable person moves right before a meet. lol If only life always cooperated right? A buddy of mine posted the video of that meet for me on another forum. He lifts at the gym the guy who put up 500lbs raw (227.5kg I think?) does.

This place needs a thumbs up smiley/emoji/whatever we call them now that I'm old and they have new names. thumbsup.jpg
