Really ? Water weight ? I've been low carb since 4/6/12, lost 24 pounds and overall 19.75 inches. If that's all water weight...I must have been a walking water balloon !! :laugh: :laugh:

I just looked back over a few days of your diet and right off I can see two things. You are not eating enough and you are eating way too many carbs. 150-200 carbs each day is a lot ! Try replacing those carbs with protein and greens. Add some fat in also. I've added Coconut Oil for cooking and it's making great changes.…

Since I am doing Low Carb, I'm using the Smoothie King's Gladiator Shake. It's 45 g of protein with only 1 carb. It's super tasty !!

Excellent advice. Push the water and it will flush it out. I had unsweet tea with dinner one night, waitress offered me a "to-go" cup, half way home and taken several big sips I realized it was not my splenda I was tasting but pure sugar. Grrrr.... started pushing the water and within 24 hrs, was ok. Lesson learned.

I too use the coconut oil. I cook with it and even put a small teaspoon in my hot coffee in the mornings. Has helped 100 percent !! And it has amazing other benefits too !! Do some research...you will be surprised !!!

Oh and another reason to log everything : You must make sure you're getting plenty of fat/oils. And I too have to watch the sodium !

Congrats on your decision..... but low carb diet won't have room for juice or beer !! Tea and water. Try sugar free crystal light but in moderation. Protein shakes are very tasty when made with almond milk. There's several great LC groups on MFP so search for us and join up. Lots of great info Good Luck !!

This really depends on what type of weight loss plan you are going to follow. We're all different and so are our diet plans. Some low calorie, some low carb, some low fat. I log everything. I really don't watch calories too closely but enough to make sure I'm eating enough. However I watch carbs, sodium and fat.
