hi there. i'm 47 years old. and always seem to have that extra 15 pounds that I would love to get rid of. It would be great to find some friends to hold each other accountable. I have a fit bit and I love to get out and walk when I can.

Just turned 46 in December. I was doing well till I fell off the wagon in October. I started back logging 2 weeks ago and want to get back into cleaner eating and exercising on a more regular basis.

My "red pants" are my skinny jeans that don't make me look like a stuffed sausage. I intend to keep it that way. I am currently maintaining my weight after losing 15 pounds over the summer. With the change of weather I feel I am being drawn to comfort foods such as carbs and chocolate.

Not much of a beer drinker anymore. Too many carbs and calories. McMenamins has several pubs in the pox area. If you are willing to go to the beach rogue in Newport has their brewery and distillery on the premises. Rogue has a pub in Portland also.

Putting your well being close to the top of your priorities list. In other words take care of you! Otherwise you are not your best to anyone else in your life. Make sure you eat well, have some kind of exercise routine that YOU ENJOY and get the rest and relaxation that you need. I know easier said than done.

My pet peeve is working out next to someone who doesn't use basic hygiene. I know we go in the gym to sweat but please at least use some deodorant and not wear clothes that haven't been washed in the past week. YUK

Clean eating to me is about having food that is both nutritrious and delicicious. I try to buy organic and local when I can especially chicken, eggs, and the dirty dozen veggies. thanks for the input. i used to do a Group power class at the gym and loved it but the gym fees were expensive and it was nearly impossible to make it to class on a regular basis. I was kind of hoping wii would be a good alternative. I find going to the gym doing weights is boring and i lose focus
