I'm going to give the it works wraps a try pretty soon

My husband says my stomach is deflating, which sounds harsh, but it's true:)

Bump, pretty much same issue, but I'm 48 pounds down and stuck and mad!
-
I'm sitting at 200 right now. Short term goal weight by vacation is 170. I'd like to ultimately get down yo 150 as my final weight
-
Me! 46 down, but 30ish more to go by October
-
I ' m sure I shouldn't encourage you, but I'm curious if you've lost any weight yet and how much
-
I've been eating well for quite awhile, but I cannot physically exercise like I warn to because of extreme disability so I was trying another path, I know that shortcut was bad wording
-
-
The thing is that I can't exercise a lot because of health/ physical issues and weight loss is really slow so I'm trying to figure. Out a;few short cuts here and there

Thanks for the suggestion about the physiotherapist. The dirty little secret about stroke rehab is that after insurance has deemed you've made " enough progress" they no longer cover you, so I no longer receive therapy services. Very dumb and frustrating

I'm with you, unfortunately:( I had a stroke in August of 2011 and I've steadily gained weight until now. Mobility is an issue for me. I have a paralyzed left arm and walk with a can very slowly. My exercise is limited to very slow walking and and low impact exercise. I'm down since Christmas. My goal is to be down 100 by…

I'm in... I'm bigger than I've been in a while, so I'm hoping to drop the first few quickly, fingers crosed::laugh:

Thanks for the kind replies. It was one year in August 2012. Things are getting better slowly, but surely. I returned to work full time as a teacher this fall and it is going great so far. If I could get some of this extra weight off, I would feel even better!

Love this! I am addicted to peanut butter-- specifically crunchy peanut butter. I love to get a spoon and just eat it from the jar. I limit myself to one spoonful, but could eat probably half the jar :)

That is funny! I'm in the same place. I thought that I was fat in high school and would love to get back to that again. Isn't it funny how our perception changes as we get older? I am a teacher and am trying to instill some positive self esteem in the girls I teach. I hate to hear them talk negatively about themselves, but…

Bump

I weighed every day for quite awhile, but now I weigh once a week-- on Friday-- and long on that day. Doing it every day is a good way to keep check, but you won't lose your sanity if you only do it one day a week.

Let me add that I lost about 50 pounds doing just the walking after my first baby. With the second one, losing weight was harder and I had gained more, so I had to change it up a bit.
-
I actually lost all my baby weight with my first baby with just walking every day and watching my calories. Try walking about 30-45 minutes everyday and add a workout video at home a few days a week. Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred is great because it's only 20 minutes and it's a great workout. I started getting up about 30…

I just bought this yesterday and am waiting for it in the mail. I am interested to see how quickly the results will come.
-
Jilliian's "No More Trouble Zones" is right at 40 minutes. I am switching that with daily with the 6 Pack DVD and I'm definitely seeing results.

I am addicted to the Crystal Light packets (althought I use the off brand ones). That is the only way that I can get my daily water intake because I can't stand just plain water. I'm also addicted to Diet Dr. Pepper. I know that it's not good for me, but it's one of the only vices that I have left that doesn't cause me to…

Can you share specifically what you are doing to target the after-baby belly?
-
Bump! Even 20 months after my second, I can't get rid of it! I'll take any advice I can get at this point.
-
I lost ten pounds doing it for five weeks. I did have to switch up my routine, though, because my body got used to it. I've moved on to some of her other DVDs and love them equally.

A co-worker and I do the same thing during lunch. We walk the track at our school. To be honest, we don't walk when it's really hot, because we don't want to sweaty and stinky the rest of the day. I keep deodorant in my purse and put it on before and after I walk..... that helps a bit. Could you walk inside on really hot…

Just added! I've gotten down to 147 and my final goal is 135, seeing 130 would be amazing though. I've lost 26 so far, but I'm trying to keep going down. Good luck!

Bump! I had been doing really well-- not hungry at all. Now it seems like I've hit hunger mode! Even with my 1200 calories, some nights I'm just starving.
