  • 75 push ups on my toes! Best body weight exercise ever!!!
  • I was probably what you call skinny fat. I was always quite slim but gained some weight around my tummy. I did the 30DS and was also doing couch to 5K at the same time and at the end of the 30DS i had lost about 7-8cm from around my waist. My weight stayed the same though, and not sure what my fat percentage was at the…
  • I love Body attack! It's my favourite class. It's an awesome workout, lots of energy, great music, awesome instructors. I go about 2-3 per week and I don't think I will ever get sick of it. It is hard core, high intensity but that's good! Keeps me very fit. I have worn my heart rate monitor and usually I burn about 500…
  • I make porridge too (oatmeal) most days for breakfast. I use rolled oats 45g, low fat milk 250mls, once cooked I add 1/2 serve protein powder (mixed with a little left over milk), then add a little cinnamon, Then add either blueberries or 1/2 banana (or both)! About 350 calories (or 400 if I add both banana and blue…
  • I don't lift heavy. I go to body pump 3 times a week, bodyattack 3 times per week (if i can fit it in), also do core workout (CXWORX) and I'm currently training for a half marathon. My body shape has definitely changed and I am much stronger that I used to be. In the pump classes I use heavier weight than most other women…
  • I would love to look like Jamie Eason!
  • Here are my pictures. I don't have a rock solid body though! (img) 20120522-205935 by paulineb251, on Flickr (img) (img) 20121007-203143 by paulineb251, on Flickr (img)
  • I am currently training for a half marathon. I run about 3-4 X per week. I also do Les mills Body attack and bodypump, both 2-3 times per week. Bodyattack is quite hard on the legs, but i really enjoy it. I do try to have 1 day off per week.
  • I have been running for just a year now. I did my first half marathon in July (had been running 6 months then), using Hal Higdon novice 2 training program. I finished the half marathon in 1:53:53. I am now training for another half which will be in febuary. I am using the Hal Higdon intermediate training program. I am…
  • This is so cool, I have been chocolate free for 3 weeks now! Its actually not that hard. The most important thing is not to buy any at the supermarket, so that you are not tempted. I am keen to continue in November. But I will be having some chocolate at Christmas!
  • Wow you do a lot of exercise! And you are right on track with your weights! are your weights in pounds or kgs? The new release bodypump (83) is awesome with really cool music. You'll love it! We did a few tracks of bodypump 84 at my gym last week and its quite different to the other releases, but really good too.
  • Thanks Timea! Bodypump is a great class. I usually go 3 times per week, occasionly twice a week. I also go to bodyattack and CXWORX, and also run. As for weights, I always use weights that challenge me. The last few reps should be very difficult. I also do the pushups on my toes. My current weights are: The bar we use is…
  • Les Mills classes are awesome. I do bodypump 2-3 times per week (usually 3) , bodyattack 2-3 per week (sometimes 4!) and CXWORX when i can fit it in (30 min core workout). My favourite is bodyattack, lots of energy, loud music, just the best full body workout. they show easier options which you can use if you are new to…
  • I am now working on toning my abs and decreasing my body fat percentage to show them.
  • Thanks! Usually it depends what time of day the body pump class is. If I go to the morning one, i will have breakfast (usually oats made with milk and a banana) and then a protein shake afterwards. If i go to a 5pm class I might have a protein shake before the class and then just have dinner afterwards. I usually eat quite…
  • I love pushups! It's one of the best strength training exercises to work your whole body. I do Les Mills body attack at the gym and there's a 4-5 minutes track of pushups and I do most of them on my toes. One of the pushup tracks we did recently I counted 65, I did them all on my toes!!!
  • IMG_1294 by paulineb251, on Flickr I go to bodypump at the gym. I really enjoy the class and try to go about 2-3 times per week. I have been going since January and I'm quite happy with the results. Its a full body workout, especially if you push yourself.
  • Jessica Ennis! Has amazing abs
  • Hmm, my average heart rate is 165 when i'm running, although if i push myself it will go up 180 and I am reasonably fit. I am currently training for a half marathon which is in 2 weeks time. The higher your heart rate the more calories you will burn. Also interval training will burn more calories too.
  • Mmmm pancakes, yummy!
  • Awesome, keep it up!
  • Definitely try couch to 5K, its a great program that slowly builds up your running slowly. I started C25K end of november and finished it a few weeks ago. I had done no running before starting C25K, but I was reasonably fit having done the 30 day shred and lots of walking. I ran 9km yesterday, so it really works.…
  • I have finished the C25K program last week. Yay! I have graduated! The program really works. I had done no previous running (except for when I was at school a long time ago), but I do walk quite a lot, and am reasonably fit. What I found quite helpful in the first 5 weeks was that I would do the run as the app says to do,…
  • I do body pump at Les Mills gym. It's heaps of fun and a really good work out.
  • I've completed c25k! Week 9 day 3 done on the treadmill at the gym after a body pump class. But instead of running for 30 minutes I kept running till I got to 7 km, did it in 39 minutes. Also had the incline set at 2 on the treadmill. Got my first 7 km race coming up next month so should be all prepared.
  • Week 5 day 1 done, went quite well, ran outside. I even did a 10 min run afterwards!
  • Found it: http://blog.bluefinapps.com/ease-into-5k-running-plan/ Now called ease into 5k. Its only 8 weeks. This looks easier than the original c25k. I am up to weekk 4 of the c25k, so I will keep my app as is, I wont be updating it to the new version
  • How have the workouts changed? not sure whether i should update my iphone app or not
