I just hit my original goal of 143. I can see now that I still have more to go. My new number is 138 but it is more about firming up and how I look rather than seeing a number on the scale. I think it can be hard to know what number is going to be right for you until you get there.

Haha...ok. Thanks. :)

It' s been 4-5 days.... But I keep trying to work it a bit.

yup, I am also trying to lose the last 10. My weight was going down about a pound a week but is now going down half a pound or less a week. I think this is normal but it is hard because i am feeling impatient to see the last of the fat go!!! I think we just need to stay patient and focused. :) I am also trying for around…

I don't plan on doing any more of her videos..... I really don't like her!! BUT she gets results so who knows! How did you find Ripped in 30?

Thanks everyone! I actually couldn't see a huge difference myself so if is nice to hear you guys see it. Even though I have lost almost 40 pounds in total I still mainly see how much I have left to lose. I am 5'9 btw. :)

I really believe it is so hard to lose weight when you are breastfeeding. I know it melts off for some but not me or any of the people in my life! Our bodies want to store fat to make sure we can feed our young. I am no longer breastfeeding but am still struggling losing the final 10 pounds. I just keep reminding myself of…

You look fantastic! How tall are you? I also started at 183 and am now down to 146 but look no where as good as you!! I have only recently started doing some toning exercises (before that my only exercise was running every other day) so I am still so flabby. I had twins last March so I definitely know that feeling of being…

I had this exact same question!! Although I still have 10 pound or more to lose I can already tell my belly is not going to be flat. There Is a lot of wrinkly, saggy skin. My twins are 1 and I got to my pre pregnancy weight in the fall and now am just trying to get to my goal weight. My girls were born at 30 weeks so I…

I agree. This is why I know it is the alcohol causing the scale to go up. It usually is down the next day but I was curious why it's happening since I know it's not "real" weight gain.

thank you. I need to keep this in mind.

Do you mean a month??

Thanks everyone. Even $35 for dumbbells is impossible right now. honestly. NO income and 3 kids to feed, gas for minivan, mortgage etc. It is only temporary and then I will DEFINITELY invest (because you don't have to be on MFP long to learn about the benefits of heavy lifting!) I did wonder if the weight gain was from…

I am home full time with 13 month old twins (identical girls) and my 3 year old son. In the morning when the babies nap I do the 30 Day Shred, it is only 25 minutes long. My son does it with me, plays or watches a show if he is being really annoying (lol). Then at night after the kids are in bed I go for a run with my…

Thanks! I have looked on YouTube but was hoping for a few specific recommendations from people who had found some they like. I will check out the 30 day shred for starters.

Yes! Wine, pizza and just not logging mixed with a snowstorm that prevented running added up to 2 pounds!! Why is is so hard to lose yet SO easy to gain!!! I am down 1 pound so just a little more than I weighed week. Now today is my birthday so more Wine, some cake and going out for supper. Then I am back on track!!

I put on 4lbs from Sunday - yesterday. i smartened up yesterday and am already down 3. I knew it was just water weight from all the sodium, alcohol and all that starch! Feels good to be back on track.

OK, I take away the "crap like that". I guess with my weight loss goals I have removed processed, sugary foods from my diet so to eat a chocolate bar after exercising just seems shocking ....BUT for people who are working out more or not trying to lose I'm sure it is no big deal.

Thanks ladies!

go for a run... or try my best to keep calm while i wait for the kids to go to bed so I can go for a run!

Day 1 - Just found this group and it is just what I need!! The alcohol calories are slowing my weight loss and I am excited to see what I can do in a month without booze!

My TDEE and my MFP calorie amount is the same. I guess my question is not about eating back exercise calories but more of the importance of eating after a workout and if we should go to bed a little hungry...ya know like Oprah told us to do ...lol.

Yeah, i am considering. I thought 1400 was a good amount for trying to lose weight so by adding on an extra 400-600 to make up for the breastfeeding i thought I was ok but on a previous post I made it seemed like everyone thought I wasn't consuming enough. I find no matter how much I eat breastfeeding makes me feel hungry…

That's why I need some help with healthy ideas ...I have stopped eating cookies, chips and junk but I need something to fill that space with.

My calorie goal is 1800+ 500 for breastfeeding - I don't usually eat that much though. I also don't eat my exercise calories. I opened my diary so you can see what I eat.

Creamy soutwest dressing - Greek yogurt, lime juice, salsa and cumin. Great with a mexican salad - black beans, cheddar, avocado, peppers, red onion, corn etc Low sugar Asian dressing - ginger, garlic, green onion, soya sauce, little honey, tiny bit of sesame oil, chicken stock or water. I love this with a salad topped…

I also had a peek at your diary. i think you may be entering things wrong - there is no way you could put 5 Tbsps of PB on a piece of bread. And 10 oz of chicken - that is a lot. Use measuring spoons and a scale, if you have one, for at least a few weeks to start seeing what portions look like. And you can make some simple…

Thank you! I will check it out. Man, it is so hard to lose weight while breastfeeding! AND i have never been hungrier in my life!
