I’m working on that sleep thing. My quantity is fine but the quality is lacking! I never thought about that correlation.

I'm in too! I lost almost 50 pounds on here 3 1/2 years ago and have put 25 back on. Would love to lose it all but would be happy with 20.

Wheat thins and laughing cow cheese Turkey pepperoni and a 2% cheese stick Low sodium deli turkey wrapped with cheese and mustard Garlic and herb pretzel crisps And for something sweet - Fiber One cinnamon coffee cakes!

When I first started I gave alcohol up altogether and I found it was much easier to drop the weight. Now I just make sure, like anything, that it fits in my calories. If one glass fits, then one it is! If I want dessert, I have that in place of alcohol. I've found I'm happiest that way and it's a good balance!

That's an awesome feeling! Keep up the good work

Thanks all! I'm going to check out Lauren Fitz this weekend! :)

Yes - definitely. I am up 7 pounds from where I said I wanted to maintain. My problem seems to be more mental. I've done the hard work and since I wasn't actively trying to lose weight I slipped back in to my bad habits. I've changed my goal from maintain to lose.5 pounds per week til I get back to where I want to be. And…

I'm with you! Initially I lost a few extra pounds over maintenance but once I settled in to the maintenance routine I put on about 4 pounds. I found that with that 4 extra pounds over what I thought was my "goal weight" I still look good, still feel good and I am not stressing about every single calorie. I like food…

I lost close to 50 pounds eating 1200 calories. I hit maintenance a year ago and since then I have fluctuated about 3-4 above my "goal weight", but only about a pound over my goal range. I'm perfectly happy with that! I'm eating waaaaay more calories and enjoying life a lot more too

I find it easiest to have a range that I am happy with. I know that if I go above or below my range than I need to make some changes. Otherwise, I chalk up small 2-3 pound changes to water weight, whether or not I have exercised, etc.

I took my kids for donut holes last weekend and ate a few myself. I didn't regret it either

I'm 5'6" also and have been maintaining between 123-128 for a few months now. Most days I'm either 125 or 126. I don't get my period anyway because of an IUD but I was this height/weight combo before and didn't have any trouble. I'm a medium build as well.
-
I'm 5'6" and my highest weight was 178. My current weight is in fact my lowest as an adult - 126. It's fluctuated as far down as 123 but it never stays there.
-
Congratulations on starting - that's the first step! Acknowledging that you are worth the life you are now fighting to lead. The very best of luck to you

I was in a wedding two years ago and a girl I had known since high school made a comment about my dress size. At the time I was a size 14. I saw her last weekend for the first time since that day and she made a comment about how much weight I had lost. She just couldn't believe that I had 50 pounds to lose the last time…

Absolutely! I still have issues when I am trying on clothes at stores. Never in my adult life have I been the size I am now and I still gravitate toward bigger sizes. Luckily, I usually have my mom with me and she can point out how wrong the bigger sizes look. I usually hear "You're swimming in that!" It's definitely…

Isn't that amazing?? It's the first question everyone asks and for some reason they expect you to have some miraculous secret that only you know about! When I tell people I did it by doing what you are supposed to - watching what I eat, portion control and exercising - they actually look disappointed.
-
Right? Totally out of nowhere! I actually feel pretty awesome about myself

I know that I am not completely sedentary. Yes, I have a desk job so I spend most of the day sitting but my office is also the only one on this level and the only option is stairs so I do two flights up and down at least 8 times a day. I just don't have a real grasp on how many steps I am taking. Does that qualify as…

I think mine has been off about 100 calories a day too. I am looking to get a fitbit to get a better idea of my steps. I think I am more active than I give myself credit for!
-
I need to hear more about this ASAP.

SW: 174 GW: 130 CW: 127 It took me 6 months to lose the weight and I've maintained within 2 pounds +/- for the past two months.

Bump!

I'm 5'6" and 127 and I wonder some days if I weigh too little. I can't imagine getting to that point. Please take care of yourself.

I don't have one but am in the market for a Fitbit and have been doing a ton of research - it's my thing, I'm a geek. The one down side I can see for the Flex is that people mention that if you are a person who talks with your hands (which I am) or someone who takes walks pushing a stroller (which I do) then it can…

I usually eat pretty well under my calorie goal during the week so that any splurges I have on the weekends don't derail my progress. I have found that to work out well for me. And cake batter frozen yogurt is one of my absolute favorite weekend splurges!
-
I ate back half of mine. That way I gave myself a margin of error for calories burned.
-
Fantastic! I changed my goal weight about 5 times before I settled on one I was happy with. And more than the weight, I settled here because the clothes I liked fit well and looked cute :) Great job!!

I'm a boring accountant and I have 3 tattoos :) If you want one, go for it!!
