I use Slap Nutrition whey isolate. The only one that doesn't hurt my stomach. No chemicals.
-
I use Yep, It's Vegan - whey has become a little rough on my stomach.
-
The company I do some work for just launched a vegan line (brown rice and pea protein) and it's gotten really awesome feedback. YepItsVegan.com if you wanna take a look.

I personally use Slap Nutrition whey. I've used it for years cause it doesn't mess with my stomach as a lot of the ones with artificial sweeteners do. I have a discount code (megmo) if you place an order there too. I enjoy the strawberry whey the most and the chocolate too.

On top of a halved grapefruit with a little sprinkle of brown sugar!

Ditto to this.

Same! I find the BEST workout gear at Target, actually! My wallet appreciates it, too. Ha!

Right now I'm really hooked on the Kind bars with chocolate. The dark chocolate & sea salt one is delicious! As far as a more "protein" ish bar, I stick with Quest Bars or Larabar ALT bars.

80 delicious and worthy calories, IMO

I average 4-6 eggs per day! Love em! They are one of the most complete and accessible sources of protein for the human body. Not to mention they're extremely versatile and delicious. Enjoy em!

Don't live your life based on what other people want, live your life based on what you want. It's ok to repel some people who don't necessarily agree with you, in doing so you're making room for people who DO support and agree with you :flowerforyou: Make yourself happy first, always. It's not selfish, it's healthy. I…

Canned tuna! Eggs! Make a tuna or egg salad with Greek yogurt/mayo combo, some chopped veggies & grapes for a hint of sweetness.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned leanitup.com but they have some great routines. As well as pinterest

And by "professional help" I am not referring to dietary help, but mental help. You truly need and deserve it.
-
Case in point. Seriously, bud, I mean this from the heart - get professional help.

Look at the bigger picture. Learn from it, appreciate that you were able to enjoy good food & move on! No use wallowing in the past - it's something you cannot change. Cheers to better days ahead :flowerforyou:

Also, maybe try a different variation of a squat! There are SO many that all produce great results! http://www.leanitup.com/9-must-do-squat-variations-torch-fat-demolish-lower-body/ Here are a few ^^

If you go to a gym feel free to walk up to a trainer or someone who works there & ask them to help you with your form - more than likely they'd be happy to!! Oh and sore doesn't always indicate progress or a good workout
-
Have you considered getting professional help? From all the threads you've created it really seems to me that you might have an eating disorder or possibly body dysmorphia and I think you're looking to the wrong place for help :flowerforyou:

If you're struggling to meet your daily calories, why are you worried about "low fat" foods? Not being snarky, just genuinely curious...fat is super important and a good way to get in calories.

You are awesome! I would have posted the direct link, but I couldn't access it from my phone, haha! So thank you and I so appreciate your kind words

I wrote a blog post about my first competition if you'd like to read it :) Awesome experience in my opinion. http://sunshinenspice.com - just search for it, it's a few posts back Competing again in two weeks too.

This. Multiplied by 700 after leg day.

THIS. Foam rolling WILL hurt as well, but it's an amazing recovery tactic. I like bathing in epsom salts as well if I'm mega sore. Arnica gel/cream is also a good thing to massage into your muscles for some relief.
-
This. Also - do you have any trainers/professionals at your gym or that you know that you could reach out to and ask for advice and to instruct you on proper form? It's so important to prevent injury.

This! I thrive on fats when I am trying to reach my calorie goals if I find that I'm under goal for the day - I reach for things as listed above as well as a spoonful of nut butter, coconut butter, etc. Before bed I will have a large snack - typically cottage cheese with 2-3 tbsp of nut butter and some crushed rice cakes.…

+1 And honestly you'd be surprised how much you really need to eat alongside working out (lifting.)

Questies!! Cookies n Cream and Cinnamon Roll are my two faves :) bit.ly/quest_megmo

Not trying to be rude, just being honest - seeing the numerous threads that you post day after day really raises the red flag that you need actual help, not help from people on My Fitness Pal forums. Just my two cents.
