I use a mat I bought from Sports authority.. It's about 84"x48" and about 1/4" thick.. Works pretty good.. I use it on concrete so I have to weigh down the ends to avoid slipping.

I started off with Insanity(Cardio based).. did 2 rounds of that and followed it up with 2 rounds of Chalean Extreme(3 days strenght training & 2 days cardio). Now, I'm doing a 3rd round of Insanity and will probably follow that up with P90X.

I hurt my MCL when I first started getting back in shape last year. I stopped running, and started doing low to no impact workouts. Lifting weights for my upper body, core exercise, and other things along that line. The other thing, I stuck to eating healthy!!! That's the most important thing. Good Luck and don't give up.

The same manual says I have to eat 3400 cals to lose weight. I eat what MFP sets for me plus my exercise calories. Seems to be working for me. On rest days I just try and eat normal. But I'm trying hard to keep my Macros right. 40% Protein, 30% Carbs, and 30% Fats.. That's harder then I ever thought it would be.

After I finished my 2nd round of Insanity I did Chalean Extreme... It's a strength train program. 90 day program broken up into three phases...
