Your body cannot tell the difference between natural sugar and added sugar. Both are chemically identical. It's basic science.
-
Yes, it's always the same story with you. This is generally how it goes in every single thread you post in: 1) You make a statement that has yet to be proven by science 2) EVERYONE tells you you are misinformed 3) You say numerous times that there's studies/evidence that claims otherwise 4) People ask for the…

Brazil's obesity epidemic is not just because of their sugar consumption. It is because of the nutrition transition (shift from traditional diets to Western-style diets). Overconsumption of ALL macronutrients are responsible for the obesity epidemic.

Um, no actually, they cannot. Animal models cannot be used to hypothesize how a human will respond. Rats and humans vary in physiologies and biochemistries. Therefore, multiple sclerosis in a rat is not identical to MS in a human.

An endocrinologist specializes in the endocrine system; not nutrition/dietetics. They receive no more education in nutrition than a cardiologist does. Just because they work with patients who generally need to follow a specific diet does not mean they are knowledgable in said area. That is why endocrinology offices have…

The only person who has been doing the judging here is you. You come here asking for people to give examples of their food choices. Then you judge and tell them they're eating too many preservatives, salt, and sugar. I thought the point of this thread was for you to see what others were eating…? Oh and by the way, a diet…

Cigarettes are cheap compared to other substances. They are also on every street corner. That's why it's hard to quit- because the accessibility to cigarettes is extremely convenient. It is hard to quit anything when there are negative reinforcements all around you.

@shortcdngirl I suggest you do the same before making an insulting and quite ignorant comment that tries to compare nicotine to heroin. Nicotine is nowhere close to being as addictive as heroin. The medical community does not believe that nicotine is as addictive as heroin, either.
