  • I lost over 80 pounds while drinking peach mango green tea by Crystal Light all day every day. I love that stuff. Unfortunately, the country I decided I just had to move to doesn't have Crystal Light. I'm sad now just thinking about it. Raise a glass for me!
  • I think lifting weights while you're dieting helps minimize muscle loss. I think it is a good thing to minimize muscle loss.
  • Is there any way you could substitute the alcohol that you would be drinking with water, club soda or diet soda? You maybe perhaps pass it off as alcohol so your customers aren't any wiser. As for the exercise; if you honestly don't have time to do it I would suggest you just eat a lower amount during that time so you can…
  • I've only just come to like my natural hair color. I used to think it was just boring, but it does compliment my skin tone and eye color. My favorite hair colors are not seen in nature. I love vibrant dark purples, burgundies and blues. I have longer length hair (varies from mid-thigh to right below my butt length) so I…

  • I like to use 0% Greek yogurt to make a dip by adding ground cumin, garlic, red onion, salt and pepper. I like to add 25g of Bramley applesauce, cinnamon and aspertame (use your preffered sweetener or none) to taste. You can also add a bit of vanilla extract and/or nutmeg.
  • The idea of boiling any meat makes me sad.
  • I doubt it is because of the additives. I would think it is because you're trying to eat something you've robbed of all flavor.
  • You're welcome! :)
  • If you weigh the uncooked pasta and you know the weight of the serving you're eating yourself then you can calculate what fraction of the pasta is yours. That fraction will be the same once it is cooked, so you can weigh all the cooked pasta and then take that same fraction of it by weight as your own portion. That way you…
  • Yes, I have this issue. For me it means I get overheated a lot faster than most other people. It also seems to me that I have to drink a lot more to combat it.
  • That is funny. I don't like the taste of milk, but when I was made to drink it the only way I could stand it was ice cold. The hint of warm made me gag.
  • I exclude it because it is too many calories (for me), it tastes nasty (to me) and I am lactose intolerant as well.
  • Goatee.
  • Those calories might be too low, but I can't tell you that. Calorie recommendations also depend on activity level, height and age. You should put your stats into MFP and see what calorie recommendation they give you.
  • I looked at the days you have logged and I think you might be eating more than you think you are. It doesn't look like you're actually weighing your food. It seems like you're eyeballing portion sizes and selecting "homemade" entries from the database which aren't going to be accurate for your foods. This is something most…
  • I'm American who now lives in England. The location has changed and the flavo(u)r of woo has changed with it, but I'd say the quantity has remained constant. You can find gullible people wherever you go.
  • Ah, that is a shame. I thought I'd be able to get a close approximation of English style chips out without having to deep fry them. Thank you for your reply!
  • I like grilled chicken, but the difference in calories between that and a proper battered and deep fried chicken breast is massive. You're at least doubling the calories.
  • Normally I would have read through all the comments before posting, but I am a bit drunk at the moment and cannot be bothered with all that. So I apologize if this has already been suggested. My husband detests vegetables. He won't eat anything that is considered a vegetable except potatoes. The only way I have found to be…
  • I really want one of these because fried foods are freaking delightful, but too many calories for me to have on a regular basis. I haven't bought one thus far because they're a tad on the expensive side if it turns out they don't work in the way they're supposed to. I do not want to put broccoli or potatoes in and get mush…
  • You can weigh the individual components beforehand and enter them into the recipe builder. When the food is done cooking weigh the entire thing in grams and input that value into the servings box. Then you just have to weigh the amounts you take out and enter it as that many servings. In effect you're saying that each gram…

  • The calories would depend on what cut of beef the pot roast is. ETA - Also how much it weighs. The amount of carrots, potatoes and other ingredients you've stuck in there as well.

  • "Don't lift weights. You'll end up huge like Madonna." Huge like Madonna... :|
  • I write things down when I'm out so I don't forget things that I've eaten. When I'm in the kitchen making things I have a dry erase board. I mark everything down as I go and I only erase it as I log it into MFP.
  • Why would eating less bread make your inner thighs lighter?
  • Every once in awhile I get horrendously strong cravings for Spagetti-O's. I don't know why because I hate them. To me they taste absolutely disgusting. In fact, just sitting here thinking about them is causing me to make the blech face. :(
  • I am in the middle of Fallout 4, Dragon Age 3 and replaying the Bioshock series. Asking me to pick my favorite game breaks my brain a bit. It is really hard. I do like to replay KOTOR (1 and 2) and Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines a lot, so they're quite high up on the list.
  • It makes lovely gravy and soups, but I can't always be bothered waiting around that long.
  • You can't make anyone do anything they don't want to do. You've already told them what you think they should be doing, but ultimately they are adults and will make their own decisions. At this point the best thing you can do is take your sisters' advice and shut up. Constant negative reinforcement often just makes people…
