After maintaining for a year I let life get in the way and I put 14lbs back on of my 31 lbs lost. Basically, I got lazy with making healthy choices and logging. I was still exercising but with the bad food choices and not logging all of the exercise was not doing me any good. I had also strayed away from the scales. I knew…

Don't restrict yourself there is too many lower calorie options out there that will satisfy a…

Popcorn is a go to for me along with raw veggies and fruit.

I start my morning with a diet mtn dew. I am not a coffee drinker so that is my caffiene of choice. I usually have another one late in the afternoon for the taste and the caffiene, other than that I only drink water or reduced calorie oj. I did go all water a few years ago for about two years but I must say I like the…

I wear capri's 5 days a week to work and will wear them until it gets to cold which will be about the end of October. I love capri's as you can tell, lol. I just don't wear white ones after labor day:smile:

Exercise, drink plenty of water and lose slowly:smile:

Yes I do and I eat 200 to 500 calories more a day. It keeps me toned and in shape:-)

3 pounds either way for me, although I am five above today and have been for a few weeks. I have increased my workouts and my calories so I am ok with the 5 that I am up as of now, anyway:wink:

I plan ahead as much as I can. I have been eating a lot of packaged foods and snacks lately and I am trying to get away from that but I stay really busy and on the go in the summer and packaged snacks is just so much easier. Some weeks I eat healthier than others and it really just depends on what is going on in my life at…

Feel free to add me, I have been on MFP for over a year and I log daily. I log quiet a variety, but it works for me:-)

I too did like you and ended up taking a couple of months off from my running. I tried to get started back after about 3 weeks but it only lasted about 4 days. After another month the scales started climbing and that was my motivation. I had been at my goal weight for 6 months and seeing the scale going up was like a light…

Honestly I would shoot for a pound a week, it's more realistic and you won't burn yourself out. An hour a day on the treadmill and a restricted diet will work just don't go as drastic as 2 hours a day and too low of calories:-)

I walk/run 4 to 5 miles including 125 flights of stairs 6 to 7 days a week and I love it. The only con is that I do have to take a rest day and I do that about every 10 days. My body and knees just seem to get tired after several dies in a row so I just give my self that rest day and I am good to go again. I say run more…

I am right here with at 44 years old. I lost 33 pounds and maintained the loss for 6 months and now I have put 5 pounds back on and can not get it off for the life off me. My weight just jumped up, my period that had always been regular became un-regular and I started having night sweats all at the same time. I am working…

I walk/run 4 miles every morning before work and I love it. It's hard to get up and get going some mornings but it makes such a difference in the way that I feel mentally and physically and I just let that motivate me on the days that it's hard to get started. It does help with stress in my life, there is no doubt abot…

I take extra restroom breaks for extra steps. Every little bit helps:-)

Count me in and I will try me best to make my schedule work:-)

No breakfast for me, a little bit of water sometimes but that is it and then water afterwards. I stil don't want food until about an hour after my run/walk.
-
On the treadmill for an hour at 5:30 5 to 6 days a week. I love knowing that it is done for the day:-)

Special k chips, popcorn and navel oranges are some of my favorites, I have now replaced the oranges with strawberries and on in to summer it will be cantaloupe and then apples in the fall. Hope this helps:-)

You totally need to do this! I ran my first one in November at 43 years old and I loved it! The atmosphere is fun and great and yo will love it and the fact that your son is willing to do it with you is awesome. My advice is to try to get a walk in when you can and try to walk/run 3 miles when you can to get ready for it.…
