I've probably been gone more than 18 months. But the used to be several...several discussion groups. I'm not seeing that many. Is there another place to find them? Do the fall off the screen after so many days now? I know how to do the low-carb as I am doing it under the direction of my doc. She wants me max close to 60…

Hello. I am 67 yr old. I think that qualifies me for this group. I have been on and off diets, including MFP. But for the past 2 years, I have been working at the 278 pounds I started with. I have been doing low carbs, high protein and fat for about a year now. I got down to 195, then the holidays hit and I turned 67 in…

Other than over the last 40 years of on again and off again and ups and downs. Heck, I have probably lost over 500 pounds and gained most of back in a life time! Its just a little over 2 years to get off 83 pounds. But, the last 30 has been great using the LCHF way of eating. It is something I can understand why I have had…

Just remember that olive oils turns to trans-fat if you heat it. No cooking with it. You can use coconut oil for cooking without it turning to trans fats.

Thank you for your information Walker1world. I am sooo glad that most of my grand kids (10 of them) have slim lines (picky eaters), but, one. She is a 9 year old sweet tooth hound. But, its still not sinking into mom and dad's heads, that pre-made waffles with syrup in the morning, pre-made lunch type kit with fruit and a…

I am 67 yrs old, I have lost from 278 to 195, but I seem to be on a plateau, but I am happy, and can't wait till the holidays are over! Whew! And I found all sorts of wrinkles under my fluffy cheeks. I don't know how to make these images smaller. Sorry

My doc told me to try them. I haven't yet. I have some, but reading this really helps. Thanks.

I started LCHF in April 15, I am down 47 pounds this round, 83 all together. I try to stay under 30g fro carbs but sometimes its up to 50. The doc wants me at 120g of protein which is hard some days. Lots of protein drinks to maintain that. Whats really important is that I get body scans for my progress. last one was from…

I love my Garmin Vivofit. I can swim, walk, (not a runner) and exercise, shower and most everything. I just wish it could change the the type of bracelet instead of rubbery stuff. But I think most all of them have that feature.
