Hello folks! I would say I'm on week 2 but am finding it hard to keep the daily schedule so am improvising. I stay with the workout sequence but do skip days. When I do , I either jog and do the last part of slim in six or do the entire slim in six routine. I do see improvement in how much of the workouts I can do - can…

I used to glisten....now I even see sweat beads on top of my shoulders. Note: saw a guy at gym the other day who literally looked like he jumped in the pool--soaking and ummm ewww!

I started with 3 & 5. Now at 9 - 12. The test is if you struggle in the last 3 reps then you have the right weight.

Agreed. I don't remember the article but I found the advice useful for my 1/2 marathon training. You should have a straight line when you take a stride landing on the ball of your foot rather than our heel. It expends less energy letting ou run longer.

Thanks. I did one round of p90x but the next month is not conducive for the workouts. I need something more simple but still get my heart pumping out of my chest.

I have the same problem and I know it's the food. Loosing veerrryyyy sssllllooooowwwllly. Guess I either go on an unsustainable meal plan or be patient. I'll be patient.

Good luck sweetie. You can do it. To be fair, husbands see you based on their heart. HOWEVER, we are our own worst critic. You have to find the balance base on health metrics (cholesterol, blood pressure, etc).

I hadn't done a full but did run my first 1/2 last year. Do you run all the time? Are the spasms cuz you're going farther than you've gone before? If so it old just be your body needs to get used to the long run. It could be more than shoes but how your foot hits the road and it's jarring your back. I would see your doc.

Love Zumba and the Zumba toning incorporates weights. It is good cardio if you do the high intensity level.

I do alternate ab work during those I struggle with. I do try them (even though I fail). My abs are my weakest spot. :sad: even when I was skinniest.
