It's the "junk" we're surrounded by. Go back 2,000 years ago, and it would be very difficult to gain that kind of weight. Try eat the equivalent of natural/organic food to a meal at your local fast food joint. Not easy...

Others noticed after the first 25. It was obvious by 40+. Started at 270, need to get down to upper 180s.

No matter what directions you follow, the most important one by far is to NOT give up!

I've never been asked that... very interesting... Ask them what they mean. Remember though, what you've done is great! Don't let others make you think otherwise...

Yes. Stay on track and don't give up (especially with weeks of no weight loss). I've lost 60+ in 6ish months...

To lose weight faster, don't eat back your calories. I drop 2-3 pounds (at least) per week thanks to those extra calories.

It's to appeal to those who seek a cheap and easy meal to throw together. Unfortunately for most people, it's a tactic that works!

What's said here is all true. It starts with a "diet", but really it's the beginning of a lifestyle change. Remember, reaching your goals show you have acquired new self-disciplines and knowledge to better take care of yourself! From there is where maintenance comes into play.

Waking up before 10am for cardio and ab work :)

I get those every now and then, not very many though. Typically they think I'm just not eating, or worse, throwing-up everything I eat! Hard work is all it is...

You look younger!

Reward yourself! You are trying AND working hard! You deserve a treat! 4. Set contemporary goals. 5. Find what works for you. Mix it…

A little over 50lbs in 5 months. Aiming for an additional 25 before I change diet and routine to start building on muscle.

As already said, today is a new day! Also if you have a splurge day (like every friday for me), just skip it for the week... no harm done!
