  • Mine said 1200 also - I think it's "set" like that (because no one should eat less than 1200 per day). Once you do your BMI, it will calculate what your resting calorie intake is (if you did nothing all day, how many calories you burn just to breathe and live). Mine was 1600 something - so I manually set my calorie intake…

  • I agree with everyone, walk walk walk. There are a couple of great walking DVD's out there. Her name is Leslie Sanderson (something like that), that are walking videos that you can do right there in your living room (in case it's too cold outside). I have one of her DVD's, and I love it.   • I love the Progresso soups. One can can be anywhere from 160 - 200 cals (vegie types of course, stay away from the chowders)! When its chilly outside, I'll eat a can of soup for breakfast. Warms me up and sustains me.
  • I just got mine this weekend (reading everyone's posts on this DVD, I just had to have it). I have a set of 5 lb weights. I assume that will be okay..? Do I need my mat ?   • I save back some calories for my evening snack. I like the 100 calorie popcorn bags - you feel like your getting a lot of bang for the buck.   • I try to stick with a once a week (morning) weigh in. I usually cheat and look about every 3 days, but I don't "count" it until my firm once a week, Tuesday morning weigh-in.. :bigsmile:
