nuts may be higher in calories, but it really just comes down to personal preference. I portion mine out, and I'd much rather personally get my protein from raw nuts than protein powders and processed protein bars. plus they taste so good!

I'm newly vegan and trust me you won't need to worry about protein if you're eating a healthy well balanced veggie diet..beans, whole grains, quinoa, tofu, nuts, vegan meatballs, vegan burgers, etc all provide plenty of protein. It really is a myth that you won't get all your protein. Feel free to friend me :)

Yes this is what I was going to post...I love doing this and then crumbling it up with italian spices, nutritional yeast, and garlic salt and using it as my "ricotta cheese" in veggie lasagna with whole wheat noodles. soooo yummy!

I have a teavana vanilla chai that is delicious and my other favorite is a black currant tea that I bought at adagio teas which is a little tea shop by my house, but I believe you can order from them online. They have over 200 different flavors and the prices are very reasonable.

if all your sugar is coming from fruit and complex carbohydrates then don't worry about it...it's quality not quantity :) I eat a whole foods, plant based diet with basically no processed sugars and go over on my sugar almost every day because I eat so much fruit
