Everyone wants an easy answer to fat loss, and advertisments prey on misinformation to make money off of that. No food in of itself is going to ruin your diet, and bananas are a great food, especially in the morning. I eat one almost everyday with breakfast either in a smoothie or with peanutbutter.

I think anything that promotes a product for weight loss is a scam. You'll notice in most weight loss programs the focus may be a pill or a shake or premade meals, but what they all promote is just common sense of eating less, eating cleaner foods, and staying hydrated. You don't need to buy that.

DON'T force yourself to drink water if you are not thirsty. DO drink water instead of drinking fruit juice, soda, and gatorade and other "sport" drinks.

I hate that at subway you get a ****ton of cheese (which i don't like on my sandwich and avoid) but they will put maybe 3 leaves of spinach on it. Oh, if you want mayo they glop it on, but vinegar is a few teaspoons?

Before I used to obsess with eating sweets, eating to feel comforted, eating to pass time. Now I know what is going into my body and i'm grossed out by the things some people eat, especially in one sitting. Idunno, counting calories and finding new recipes is fun for me.

I love avocado in a spinach salad with poppyseed dressing and pear slices. Also, avocado slices on a shrimp taco, and when making guac use sweet onions-just watch the amount, 1 avocado is almost 300 calories and it's easy to eat too much delicious guacamole.

AGREE! I don't consider miller, bud, pabst, or any of that actual beer. Gimme a good stout or ale, it's worth the calories.

Shots shots shots sha-sha... one shot is less than 100 calories usually. I LOVE beer but for calorie saving i'll just do shots. You can dress them up with diet soda and lemon juice if you're into an actual drink.

I almost always make "pancakes" with an egg, a banana, and two tablespoons of peanut butter. I avoid food when it happens. The uncontrollable hunger...ugh. I just try to stay busy away from food when I know i'm not even hungry. For the cocoa cravings i'll have a chocolate meal shake or make chocolate yogurt with cocoa powder, greek yogurt, and stevia.

My advice is since some people lose well eating back calories and some don't, don't force yourself to eat if you are not hungry. See how it goes for a week or two not eating back all your exercise calories, that's how many people do it.

I had a slight intolerance, but overall i never liked milk by itself, especially whole, and soy milk tastes horrible and may be bad for women so, almond milk is a lifesaver :]

LOVE almond milk :p I use it in my meal shakes, coffee, and with sweets. I recommend the half coconut milk blend if you like that flavor, it's super creamy and only 60 cal serving.

I gravitate towards "healthy" foods, but no food in of itself is unhealthy. I just try to steer clear of what we call "junk" food because it makes me crave binge eating and is calorically dense.
