Do you get fed up of constantly feeling not good enough because of weight?
Just dawned on me today that for more than 50 years of my life, I have felt (second class) because I am not the size I ought to be. Never been massively overweight usually one and a half to two stone over. Constantly thinking, why can't I just eat without feeling guilty, or how are all these people slim and I'm not. 50…

Just looking through some of my reports and which days I stick to this better. Love cheese most kinds if not too strong. Do well…

Heading wrong i wanted to say younger members!! Age does bring a limited amount of benefits! Well one anyway and that's experience and possibly some acceptance! I wish when I was in my late teens, twenties, possibly thirties someone had taken me aside and explained eating in a healthy sustainable way. I would have known…

Dessert?
Hi fellow MFP's. Following Lo carb/ high fat and mostly doing okay. I do like to finish of my evening meal with a little something, presently Greek yogurt or mascarpone and a few berries. However sometimes getting cramps in my feet and front of leg at night. Standing and walking doesn't seem to help this type. It's quite painful and long lasting.…

Macros/Grams??
Hi Following a 65% fat, 25%protein rest carbs, which means my macro for protein says 116! Is that figure grams as my LBM would suggest 64 grams of protein would be enough. Don't actively exercise. Just seems to be a.lot of protein when it is set to 116, total calories 1850. Put simply are the amount of macros MFP give when…

Too much protein!
Hi Think I am running a bit high on the protein. Trying for 65% fat 20% protein rest carbs. Not aiming for full keto, but find this way of eating really helpful with cravings and satisfaction. Find it hard getting my head round this much fat but not complaining as it seems to suit me. Food I enjoy would be like salmon,…

Encouragement Post
Eat More To Weigh Less-could this actually be the right war to go? Well for me it certainly seems that way. Years of starving and stuffing; long story; very boring! Best weight loss years ago was on 1750 calories a day. Couldn't seem to get back to that, it's funny how you can do something at one time and then can't…

Has anyone experience setting the program on the Console. Just can't seem to get it out of manual! I wanted to put my user profile in but I think the M probably means Manual? Probably just a moaning Minnie!! Eating about 1900 cals, doing okay on that. Normally plenty of energy. Got up yesterday and totally whacked! Same today! This is so unlike me I am usually up and at it. Done my usual cycle with a bit of HITT (well my version) which is flat out on bike until knackered, recover and same…

Firstly thanks for all the useful info and forward thinking information on here. It is a real eye opener. I have been using a monthly subscription website to count calories and have had steady progress eating about 1850 calories daily. Calories
Hi folks I have been calorie counting and exercising for a couple of month with steady progress. I have read the thread about counting calories and exercise and think I understand it! However after I add my strength training exercises it doesn't give me any idea of calories burned! Is that correct or am I completing the…
