How do you get turkey bacon crispy?
I use jennie-o extra lean turkey bacon (0.5 grams of fat per slice, if I remember correctly) and I spray the pan with pam, but I can't seem to get it crispy. Any suggestions?

Clean Eaters (I need help!)
I have recently adopted the eating clean lifestyle. I have been reading about its health benefits for a few months and weight loss is not the only reason I have decided to take this on. I have always had intense migraines (since I was a baby), so intense that I am constantly in and out of the emergency room. Medicines…

Bacon Lovers Support Group
I'll be the first to confess, I ate three slices today.....I refuse to count it as a cheat day OR feel guilty about it. Of course, everything in moderation. I certainly will not be doing this every day....or even every week for that matter. Who else is with me?

For those stuck at home
I'm just wondering, is the economy affecting anyone else on here to the point where you are out of work/school? I live in Southern California and I've been out of a job for a year now...and on top of that I can't even get into any classes at the community college thanks to overcrowding. So my question to those stuck at…

Help for someone who HATES to run

Zumba and HRM
Today I bought one of those wristwatch HRM's. Now, I know it isn't going to be as accurate as a chest strap, but right now I'm tight on money and I just wanted to get a general idea of how many calories I'm burning. My first problem was that it wouldn't let me change my age or sex on it. So I figured I could just get a…

Thanksgiving tips
What will everyone be doing to keep on track during Thanksgiving? My plan is to eat a lean cuisine at dinner and since that will mostly fill me up, I'll be able to take extra small portions of whatever I feel like having. Anyone have tips on snacking throughout the day though? There will be so much yummy food it will be…

Eating back exercise fat, carbs, and protein
I understand the concept of eating back your exercise calories, but MFP also increases fat, carbs, and protein when you log your exercise. Do any of you also eat everything else back along with your calories? I'm worried about over consuming when I don't need to. Also, I've increased my fat intake because I am eating a lot…

Fat intake
I've noticed that I've been eating a lot of the healthy fats lately and that tends to put me over as far as fat goes. I read an article and I'm wondering if this sounds logical or not. According to this, I should be eating 40 grams of fat (based off of 1,200 calories) Currently I'm eating between 25 and 27 grams. Can…

I absolutely love using greek yogurt mixed with ranch packets. I can't taste a difference between that and real ranch at all, but it is way too thick for my liking. Is there anyway to thin it out?

What do you do when you get a cold???
I have a terrible cold that started a few days ago with very mild symptoms, and now it's gotten drastically worse. My problem is that my body is so fatigued that working out doesn't sound good even for 15 minutes. I also have no appetite, but at the end of the day I want a huge fatty meal to make up for it. Any tips for…

Tuna
So I have some tuna and I'm going to put it in a low carb/low fat tortilla for my lunches, but I'm wondering what are some good alternatives to mayonnaise? I don't want to eat light mayonnaise because even that has a little too much fat for my liking. The more ideas the better! Thanks in advance :)

Protein Shakes
I bought some protein shake mix and I make it with non fat milk and half of a banana. On the label it says I can replace 2 meals with this shake and have another shake as a snack, meaning I would only be eating one *real* meal a day and maybe light snacking. I'm currently having appetite problems (nothing sounds good and…

Smart Balance spray butter?
So I recently bought the smart balance spray butter just to add a little flavor to things (I'm not much of a butter eater to begin with so this is just perfect for me). On the nutritional facts there is no fat, no calories, no sodium, NOTHING at all. This seems odd to me. Is this somehow unhealthy despite it being zero fat…

Lean Cuisines
I tend to eat....a lot. And I'll be the first to admit, that a little tiny lean cuisine is not about to fill me up. When that happens I usually create some abnormal hybrid meal out of…

good fat/bad fat
How are you able to eat things like olive oil and nuts when they have sooooo much fat in them? I understand that it is good fat, but if I'm only eating 20 grams of fat a day and a handful of peanuts have 15 grams of fat then how does that work? Only have 5 more grams of fat the entire day?
