I'm feeling excited this week. I'm currently doing the Strong Curves program and I went from 115lb bridges and hip thrusts to 155lbs for 3x10 in a month. My bench also went up to 2 25lb dumbbells compared to just 20lb ones. Right now my deadlift is at 145lbs. for 3x5. It's my slowest but i'm ok with that. Yay for getting…

My first 5 K but mapmyrun says it was longer?
I did it this morning in the pouring rain and thunder and lighting, very exciting and luckily not cold or hot. I jogged and walked and took 43 min 50 sec. Why do so many people on MFP think you have to lift heavy to be strength training? I push around my body weight and am getting stronger. And what should i eat? How long after? Does it depend on the workout? I'm trying to get stronger and preserve as much muscle as possible while i lose weight. Is this a HIIT workout?
I did 20 sec.on 10 rest for 4 min. Squat thrusts, mountain climber,high knees, jumping jacks. Then i did a home workout of 2 1/2 mile walk jog. Should i try and get another 4 min. in after the walk? I don't know that i could yet but should i strive for that?
