Advice on scales ... again.
I know I have seen this thread plenty of times, but would like to ask this again in case there is some new information or a top product out there you may have advice on. I officially think my scale is kaput. My scale read that I lost 9 lbs in two weeks of precise dieting and hard exercise. Now, I know a good portion of…

Treadmill
I invested in a treadmill. It is not 'top of the line' as you don't enter in age/weight and things like that, but it will get me through the winter and help me gap those times where I make excuses for not wanting to go out to the gym and do cardio becos of time. Can I safely log this under the 'Jogging' category even…

One-time exercise -or- Split-up exercise... does it make.a d
I want to get back to cardio at least for 60min daily. Unfortunately, I find it difficult to fit a full 60min in during a work week. So, my question is: I could do 30min in the morning, 30min in the evening... or 20/20/20, etc. Is there a difference in benefit of doing 60min straight opposed to splitting the time up? ...or…

When's enough?
I am once again back from working overseas. I have been extremely successful reaching my goal. The question is... when is enough... enough? I am at a healthy weight now for my height, but find myself stressing and wanting to lose more to build up a 'safe zone' where if I would put on 10lbs from holidays, temptations,…

Okay... it's time to tackle the mid section.
I have done extremely well in my weight loss journey and have maintained my current weight for awhile making me feel confident that I am choosing the correct foods and using portion control. Now, my next journey is toning my mid section. Like most men, I put on most of my weight on my mid section. I went from a size 42…

I am becoming a MFP forum troll!
Yes, I said it. It seems when I have free time the MFP forum is paramount. I guess it's a good thing. If you get sick of me, just tell me. I will gently fade into the background. :(

I am relocating again to the UK in a few weeks for work and would like to gain a few UK friends to help me in the transition from US Nutritional Labels and Brands to UK Nutritional Labels and Brands,,, Oh, I'll be in Swanley, Kent. :)

I don't understand...
I officially weigh myself once a week at the same time (in the AM) and log it on MFP. I do peek sometimes to see if things are going well and if adjustments need to be made. I have been peeking 5 days in a row now because I am so confused in what I am seeing. I have been fluxuating exactly 5lbs. Let me map it out: Day 1 -…

Roller blading - is this possible?
My nephew is on spring break and I took him roller blading at a local roller skating rink. We did a two hour session pretty much non-stop with only breaks here and there for water fountain/rest room. It was great fun! I used to play ice/roller hockey so I am very good at skating and skated most of the time with speed and…

Coke Zero: Your Thoughts...
I have given up soda for 6 months and have not had a craving until recently... I decided to break down and buy a few cans of Coke Zero. Not the best, but has subsided my cravings. Any nutritional thoughts/feedback on Coke Zero?

Advice...
I have been very, very proud of myself. I set out in January to train for a 5 mile run that was this past weekend and start losing my excess weight. The weight loss has been a success and the 5 mile run came and went with great results! Now that the run is over, I find myself craving the foods that I have written off. This…

What to eat before and after 5 mile run...
I have signed up for my first 5 mile run which is going to happen in two weeks. My questions is: Is there a certain type of food/nutrition that I would benefit if I ate it before my run? Also Is there a certain type of food/nutrition that I would benefit in recovery after my run? Thanks for the advice.

Splitting up your daily exercise
I do cardio 50 minutes each day... I have the day off today and I am beat. I was wondering, does it really matter if I split up my cardio (25min midday, then 25min tonight)? Should I tack on an extra minute to allow for the now 4 warm up and cool downs when splitting it into two sessions when it was only 2 warm up and cool…

No Energy...
Wow, I hit a wall today. I have been rocking it out on my exercising... jogging for 50 minutes, every night for the past 2 weeks and a half. But tonight, BOOM, at 30 minutes, I could go no more.

Can you over exercise?
I doubt you can, but I am not all knowing... Can you over exercise. MFP sets me a goal of 400 calorie burn exercise per day - I do about 700-800 calorie burn per day. Thus, today, after my workout, I will have had all my total week of calorie burn from exercise. I figure that this is a good thing, but I want to know if…

Pizza Hut 'Fit and Healthy' Pizza
So, I got the new Fit and Healthy Pizza from Pizza Hut. Supposedly the one I order '12'' Green Pepper, Red Onion, Red Tomato' was 150 calories per slice - to be honest, I don't see how this is true: (8 slices = whole pie) Yes, there is less cheese and it isn't greasy, but it comes on thick crust instead of thin like I…

Gutted...
Week 1 has went by tremendous with great success. I believe I have kick started my metabolism by eating 3 times a day instead of just one and I have exceeded my calories burned by exercise goal. All in all I have lost 6 pounds and 7 days. :) I am absolutely gutted now because after working out yesterday, I wasn't feeling a…

Oh, I love the pepper...
Well, I know I could just look this up on Google, but I decided to ask you lovely lot. I love pepper on almost everything. Should I log that in my daily meals. I'm sure there must be a bit of calories, but it may be so minuscule that there would be no need to log it. Thanks!

My caloric intake is low :(
I know I should be happy, but I think this is one of my main problems. I have a nasty habit of skipping breakfast, eat a light lunch (string cheese stick or an apple/banana) and having a big dinner to fill me up. Thinking back at my meals, I don't think that I ever go over my suggested caloric intake for the day, yet I am…

Hello - Please to meet your acquaintance
My introduction to who I am and why I am here are really spelled out on my profile I finished early, thus, here is what I had to say. :) I am a 31 year old male in an early mid life crisis! It happened on accident really. I lived in the United Kingdom for 6 months in 2009. I used the public transportation for getting…
