Stuck with 5-10 lbs to go
I am SO close to my goal weight, but the scale has been stuck for three weeks. I'm eating between 1200-1500 calories, depending on if I work out (more calories on the days I do), I do interval training or run 4 days a week, drink plenty of water, and eat mostly "whole" unprocessed foods. Help! What can I do?

Confessions of a Bingeaholic
Today, I binged. In a major way. It's been 12 weeks since my last binge, and I was doing oh so good until something clicked today and I headed to the closet at work where the marketing department stashes their candy for events. Here is everything I ate above and beyond my daily calories: 7 snack-sized candy bars 1…

Healthy breakfast ideas?
I need to change up my breakfast routine ... can you offer a few healthy breakfast ideas around 300 calories? I prefer WHOLE foods (fruit, veggies, whole grains, milk, etc) to packaged. Thanks!

REAL caloric intake needs?
I googled how many calories I need to eat to go from my current weight to my goal weight, and found it was significantly more (500) than 1200. Why is it that MyFitnessPal suggests 1200? 500 extra calories makes a BIG difference!!! Who do I believe?

Good morning, runners! No run for me today. My husband and I are leaving in a few hours for the mountains this weekend. I plan on running a 6-miler while I'm there, so wish me luck - the terrain isn't as easy as my local neighborhood streets! :) Have a great long weekend!

GPS & Heart Rate Monitor
I am looking at getting the new Garmen Forerunner 405 GPS + Heart Rate Monitor to help me keep track of distance and calories on my runs. Only problem is my wrists are really small and when I tried on the Garmen, it was really big and clunky. I didn't try on the Heart Rate Monitor band yet, but I am a little concerned that…

inner thighs
I know we can't spot-reduce when it comes to losing fatty areas ... but does anybody have suggestions to help shrink my inner thighs? I run and do other cardio, but it's a spot that just won't budge.

Good morning runners! Today I woke up bright and early for Bring-A-Friend SEAL training. If you're not from Richmond, Virginia, you may not have heard of the SEAL team. (www.sealteampt.com) It's basically boot camp led by a former Navy SEAL, and it's intense! A friend of mine is on the team so I went to check it out ...…

ideal weight
I read this great article about your ideal weight. Here is what the expert said: "I'd like to banish the whole idea of ideal weight," he says. "We simply don't have enough data to say what's right for any individual or group. We should focus more on telling people they can get healthier by becoming more active, no matter…

I'm actually LOSING
I'm excited to announce that I'm LOSING weight. After months of being on a plateau (and losing motivation by the day because the scale was up-down-up-down-up-down), for the past four weeks I have lost weight every week except one (the one week that every woman dreads and gains no matter what). As of today, I've lost 4.2…

Dinner! Yum!
Tonight we made skewers of chicken, shrimp, green bell peppers, zuccini, and squash, lightly marinated them with a mixture of lite balsamic dressing and garlic herb seasoning, and put them on the grill. YUM! Less than 300 calories, full of protein, and very filling! My favorite part: Grilled green bell peppers. There's…
