New month, new challenge!

Our challenge is to do 10,000 steps in a day. You can do this for any one day or try for the entire month. Jump right in at any time! You can set a lower or higher goal if you wish. Our main goal is to keep activate every day!

It's easy to join - Just post here to begin! You can also jump in anytime during the month, too.

You will need a step counter to keep track of your steps and then post your results daily here.

    Don't wait, start today! Every step counts, whether you're grocery shopping or walking to the post box, count 'em! Lots and lots of free phone apps out there count every step you take. I like google fit.

    I'm in again! I work a desk job M-F. Goal: average 11,000 steps / day

    1. 2,912 ~ 2,912 ~ 2,912 ~ My back hurting, car round trip 3 1/2 hours & niece's bday party...I know this will get better!
    2. 7,577 ~ 10,489 ~ 5,244 ~ Still not on treadmill, but my back doing better.
    3. 12,659 ~ 23,148 ~ 7,716 ~ Walked 2 miles on treadmill & my back stiffened up later.
    4. 8,453 ~ 31,601 ~ 7,900 ~ Non-treadmill day / staying off until my back improves more, almost there!

Very happy with my time, wore layers of clothes in 10 degrees & NNW 12 mph wind, fun event. Nice change from treadmill. Next year, wear my headlamp.

    My goal is to average 10,000 steps per day for February. I know I can't make it daily due to work but I'll try to make up for it when I can.

    Definitely in! I’m usually between 10-12,000 steps per day, but I’m at 17,000 already because my job entailed a lot of walking today.
