Went to the mall today and did a ton of walking, so far I've got over 11,000 steps in.1

The last few days have kept me on my butt vs moving my butt. I think I might need to set a timer that goes off like every ten or twenty minutes where I get up and walk for five or so minutes. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know the typical reason to move for heart and lungs, but there are other reasons. There is the chance of developing a blood clot from sitting too long, allowing for fungus to settle into folds of skin and create infections, and other not so pleasant stuff. Gotta move more.2 -

@maelynmayhem you're quite right. Maybe you could give yourself a hourly goal. Like I know some of the Fitbit users here do a 250 steps/hour goal. What I used to do at first was when I watched TV, every time the ads are on I got up and did something. And without realising you'll add the steps at a time that was an interruption anyway3

I would like to join... I did over 15000 steps today! Frist time I have even mange to get close and then other the 10000 mark scince wearing my fitness watch about 1 week ago3

The last few days have kept me on my butt vs moving my butt. I think I might need to set a timer that goes off like every ten or twenty minutes where I get up and walk for five or so minutes. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know the typical reason to move for heart and lungs, but there are other reasons. There is the chance of developing a blood clot from sitting too long, allowing for fungus to settle into folds of skin and create infections, and other not so pleasant stuff. Gotta move more.
How ever you do it.. you just gotta keep moving!!!2 -
