So because someone dresses a certain way they deserve to have nudes sent to them?

No, not all what I said in my first comment. By encouragement, I meant that I don't believe unsolicited dik pics happen unless encouraged through conversation. I guess I should have elaborated on that. You have to move to another means of communication for that to happen and give some sort of encouragement. Someone else brought up the clothing attire, I also voiced my opinion on that. And it's exactly that, just my opinion. I have been here more than long enough to see how things work. And no, I am in no way one that believes a woman should be assaulted or harassed by the way they dress but unfortunately that's the way some people behave. I also saw someone in my feed the other day that barely had her nips covered by her shirt and legs slightly spread then complained about the comments she got. You can't have it both ways, you can't post like you are on a porn site and not expect comments.

    Amen sista!

I fully own my comments here. If you're posting provacative pictures publically then do not be surprised when people comment. If you don't want unsolicited comments from random guys, then here's a really good tip. Don't post publically and be really selective with who you allow on your friends list.

So it's their fault for looking good in a photo is it? - do you realise how close that comment is to "well she asked for it wearing a short skirt like that", wow!

Reading comprehension please. I don't know who you are or how long you've been here but I have posted provacative pics of my legs, my *kitten* and my cleavage and guess what I wasn't one bit surprised by?! Comments, friend req and messages talking about my body. Everyone here is an adult. They know what they're doing when they take and post pics like that.

    And the search begins!

If you wanna see real outrage, all people need to do is give honest opinions on the risque pics people put up and send......regardless of what these forums tell you, not everyone here is a 10....;)

    *so not a 10.

    I'm outraged at myself.

I confess when you combine a bunch of known physical laws, typically expressed as differential equations, and apply them to fluid flow, you get the Navier-Stokes Equations. A solution to the Navier-Stokes Equations then represent a possible way that fluid can flow. These equations are applied all over the place to generate models of fluid flow. But these are all numeric approximations, or restricted in some way to provide a solution. None of these provide a general solution to these equations.

If you look at the fluid without really zooming in that much, then you'll have a fairly coarse view of the fluid. This can allow you to approximate solutions to these equations and get good models of physical things because fluids are not, in reality, infinitely fine, they are made of things of discrete size. But if you take these equations and allow for infinite zoom, then you're treating these fluids as infinitely fine things. Since these equations allow for turbulence (because that is a thing that happens to fluids), this infinite fineness can produce some chaotic results. A small non-uniformity at one point in time Meeseeksanddestroy is a thespian can blow up into a hugely compounding distortion that breaks the smoothness of the fluid. You can get infinite peaks of density or velocity within the fluid and loose nice things like differentiability.

So far, every attempt at solving these equations looses one of these nice things we typically associate with fluid. We either lose the smoothness or it can become unboundedly energetic.

The Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize Problem is then the question of whether or not this differential equation can be solved without losing these nice things we associate with fluids. It could very well be that these equations admit no actual solution, so they don't actually describe how fluids behave. But we already know that they don't, because fluids are not infinitely fine. The question is whether or not this assumption is a thing that breaks the model.

Overall, though, differential equations are really hard to solve, and we have no real general method to attack them. The reason why this problem is so important is because a solution to it is expected to provide us with new, more powerful and more interesting tools with which to study differential equations.

    I confess I didn't read this

I confess I'm using MFP as a distraction right now because my heart is breaking and I'm trying to ignore the pain and delay the flood of tears I know is coming.
