NSV: Old Pants Fit!
Wore a pair of pants I haven't worn since early 2016. It's kinda loose now too. I couldn't even attempt to close the snap and zip last May. I'm looking to lose 40-50 lbs, BTW. I only weigh myself "officially" once a month after my period because, you know, hormones.

Progrsss 51lbs down!!! Post your progress photos too!!
I started weighing in at 233lbs and one day decided I'd had enough with being out of shape. I've been involved in sports my entire life and needed a change. I started working out daily and altered my diet as well, only eating lean meats and basically no carbs. I meal prep to avoid cravings and stay dedicated with as little…

After losing roughly 30 pounds, I still cannot seem to accept how I look at my new healthy weight that I've been maintaining for over a year. I always think I need to lose more weight. Does anyone else have this problem? Anyone have any advice/success…

Stretch Marks & Pouch Before & Afters
I know there is a very similar thread going but it's at 15 pages & most of the before/afters are of women who didn't have stretch marks or a pouch after pregnancy. I am after some inspiration from women who have had children, got the dreaded stretch marks and the pouch. I feel like my only option when I get to my goal…

One year ago
It's been exactly one year ago that I had a total hysterectomy. One year ago I was at my weakest. One year ago I was putting on the pounds like crazy. One year ago I was very sedentary. No exercise whatsoever. This morning I ran 4 miles before breakfast. Working a training plan to run a 1/2 marathon in November. 50+ pounds…

Next month on Sept. 17th I will have been here for 4 years. I reached my maintenance weight a couple of weeks ago. From Weight Loss to Bulking
Hey everyone! I'm a 17 year old kid, going on 18 that has lost around 80 pounds. I once weighed 220 lbs and my lowest ever was 145 lbs. At the highest point of weight in my life I was depressed, and scared. I knew the road I was going down would lead to death and I wouldn't be able to enjoy the good things in life. So with…

First time in 5 years!
I'm in the 130s again-- WOO HOO! For the first time since 2012, the scale says 139lbs. Today is 40 days since I started back with MFP and I'm down 11lbs. It may not sound like much, but I started from a place of not being overweight (just puffier than I wanted) at 150lbs and 5'7. Better yet, I'm down 8 inches overall. Now,…

Over 50kgs down and counting!!
I started my weighloss journey about 2 years ago. It's been a slow process with many ups and downs as well as hitting many plateau's. I have lost the weight naturally without the need of weight loss surgery which I am so happy about! I still have the odd indulgence and nights out with many drinks but I have finally learnt…

First 20 lbs lost!
I just wanted to celebrate this morning because I've finally broken through and lost my first 20 lbs! It's been frustrating because right when I was at 18 lbs down, I hit a wall of a plateau. For 5 weeks I've been losing the same 2-4 pounds, up and down, up and down, up and down. I scoured through my diary for clues, I…

I made it. Now, I need to maintain it.
On the 18th of February this year, feeling particularly heavy and uncomfortable in my clothes, I decided to weigh myself to see how much damage I had done to myself in recent years. I stepped on the scales and discovered to my horror that I was 16st 7lbs. I had only been this heavy once before in my life and it was time to…

100+ pounds gone NATURALLY
Yeah, believe it or not, I have lost over a hundred pounds naturally!!! Before you waste your time reading this, let me give you some mental advice. You will NOT lose weight if you don't have self motivation and discipline to do so. You cannot be that pedosn that says 'I'll start Monday' because if you're already saying…

40 Lbs. down and counting
“Don’t ever give up. When you think of giving up, also think of why you started in the first place. Whether you think you can or you can’t, you are right. So believe in yourself and just keep going. I will forever be grateful to my body for not giving up on me, through obstacles and through the pain, it still continues…
