Fly everywhere instead of driving. Might just be an age thing but I've developed some attractive swelling, of my ridiculously skinny ankles, after flights in the last few years

    Or get pregnant!

Bwahaha that one works great for wrists and fingers too!

I too have superslim ankles. But I'd rather have those than swollen ones

Try kicking over a bees hive or wasp nest with bare feet. If you are alergic to bee stings, even better.

I can't believe no one has suggested implants. I'm sure some skeezy "cosmetic surgeon" somewhere would be willing perform surgery.

Do you remember the episode of "True Life" on MTV where the dude got calf implants?!

I do not, but I totally believe it. My favorite is butt implants. People are insane(ly lazy).

Only thing I can think of is the scene in that Stephen King book made into a movie. The part where the crazy lady give James Caan an ankle adjustmentzezw77v7maqp.jpg

I did that on accident as a kid. OMG, I'd never felt pain like that before.

I managed to sit in one as a small kid at a friend's house. They didn't start biting me until I noticed they were there and I freaked out (they were up to my face at that point). They ended up throwing me in the shower and I looked like I had the chicken pox. It was pretty awful.

OMG I stepped on a fire ant hill in New Orleans visiting my great grandmother! I was scarred for life. Every time I would go visit I would jump from the car to her house!!! LOL!

Eat loads of salt, bucket loads. Don't drink any water. With all that sodium your ankle should be twice the size they are now. ;)

Stand on one leg/toes. The balancing act is what will activate the posture muscles around the ankle. Make sure you wiggle around to strain them as much as possible, you should be albe to get it to burn.

Frankly, no. Don't forget to visit the anatomy photo on page one this thread. Humans have no muscles in their ankles. None.

    fail.

there is no muscle on the ankle to bulk.

but- working on balance at any age is always a wise idea.

I'm still curious as to what exactly a "posture muscle around the ankle" is.

My ankles and feet grew in size and strength after doing ballet training. There are ballet exercises that strengthen your ankles significantly over time.

Any suggestions how to slim my ankles down?
They always put on weight when I fly to the Caribbean, drink lots of beer, and eat salty food.
