Maximus is 100% correct: blueberry wins by a landslide; apple doesn't even place.

Tarte tatin with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is also hard to beat.

Offside. Rosie. Five yard penalty. For mentioning Tarte Tatin, which no one knows what it is.

    Repeat first down.

Ok then. Try an upside down pie with caramelized apples AKA tarte tatin. Better?

Sorry apple. Not even in the Top

Agree, debate, discuss, trim your ear hair.

    Go!
You've never had MY apple pie. You would change your mind.

    I also make a tasty strawberry-rhubarb. I'm kind of a pie wizard.

Blueberry is definitely at the top. Along with an apple, and a cherry pie. My mom makes an amazing lemon ice-box pie, and I love sweet potato pie and pumpkin pie. Of course, all of these pies must be homemade (filling and crust) with a freshly made, lightly sweet whipped cream.

    All that!!

I've logged Fresh Peach and Cherry pies in the last few months. Last year was Lemon Merinque & Chocolate. (Finally found a fool-proof pie dough recipe lip-smackin' good) May have to try a blueberry.
Never a Rhubarb tho, can't choke it down to please a grandma. That's like putting a vegetable like squash and baking it up and calling it "pie". ;)

    Concur.

I make my pie crusts with cream, butter-flavored crisco, a tbs. of sugar and they are amazing...

The only pie filling that you can get away with not making is cherry pie. But that's because you're going for artificial sweetness instead of... cherries.

Really, blueberry? I'm on apple's side. Though I like to sometimes add crushed nuts or cranberries to it.

Blueberry makes a better cobbler than pie IMO.
