It's hard to pick a favorite snack, but I tend to go for flavored almonds most.

Favorite Breakfast: Oatmeal and Fruit or Yogurt and Fruit, or Scrambled Eggs and Fruit (Top 3 breakfasts)
Favorite Snacks: Usually Fruit and Nuts, Sometimes I will do popcorn but I pop my own.
Favorite Lunch: Tuna mixed with avocado (It's better than what most probably think) along with side of veggies, Soup with Side of Veggies, Salad loaded with veggies and protein like chicken or turkey (Top 3 lunches if there are no leftovers left from the night before)
Favorite Dinner: Well that varies widely but I love Latin food and Asian food and try to make that healthy as possible by doing my own.

I have other favorites too: Peanut Butter

Mine is a chocolate brownie. There isnt really such a thing as a healthy snack, just too little or too much..... especially if a bagel (wholemeal makes no difference) with peanut butter is considered healthy.

My favorite was Skinny Cow Chocolate Truffle Bars but with the colder weather I have no desire for ice cream. I have now switched to homemade banana and zucchini breads. I made two loaves yesterday and gave one away because I feared I would eat both myself.

Seriously. Bread in general is full of carbs and sugar, wholemeal included. Wholemeal offers very little in comparison to white. I choose it simply because I prefer the taste. Peanut butter, high in sugar and fat also.

Chicken breast sauteed in a little olive oil with onions, red peppers, rosemary, garlic and a bit of red wine served over spaghetti squash with a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese.

    Guiltless Pumpkin Pie

    1 can of pumpkin
Cinnamon and nutmeg (or pumpkin pie spice) to taste
    2 T coffee creamer
    Optional: 2 graham crackers

Mix pumpkin, spices, and creamer to taste. Crumble crackers and mix in pumpkin.
Very low calorie and high in fiber.

That, but instead of banana I smash one square of 80% dark chocolate to tiny pieces and sprinkle. Foodgasm.

Um, that's a very broad statement. My PB has no sugar added whatsoever, the ingredients are 97% peanuts, 2% palm oil and 1% sea salt. The fats are healthier fat than a milk chocolate candy bar, say.

Same for white and wholemeal/grain/wheat breads.

I think you'll find there are healthy snacks.

I so wish I liked cottage cheese. I try, I do. The first spoonful goes down OK, then something kicks in and I just hate it. I've tried so many different ways, but I can't do it. Yak. Same goes for celery.

I'm with you on that! PB is great on fruit, bread, or veggies and so is hummus. Very versatile and very delicious!

for a meal, i make a pretty killer kale & quinoa salad that i could probably eat every day for the rest of my life.

    freshly chopped kale
    cup of quinoa
    goats cheese
dried cranberries &/or golden raisins (natural, unsweetened)
    toasted almonds or pine nuts
    salt
    pepper
    lemon juice
    olive oil & balsamic vinegar

for a snack, i usually just stick to raw almonds. sometimes, depending on how hungry i am, i'll bake a few brussel sprouts or steam some broccoli. pretty basic.
