It's mostly water weight. Also if you wind up having 500 cals left at night, either eat it all or eat them the next day on top of your normal intake. Just make sure you have a sustainable, 1lb/week goal while eating as much food as possible to miminize muscle loss and ensure you can actually stay consistent with your intake and not wind up derailing.0 -
