Just wondering what I should be roughly expecting to eat calorie-wise at the end of my weightloss.
So by shorties I mean 5'2-5'4 ish and by slim I guess 120/130lbs?

I'm 5'1" (barely) and trying to maintain between 102 and 105 (small frame I think). I maintain on around 1650 calories a day.
When you get close to your goal, up the calories slowly-- you don't want to lose your adaptation to eating less, because if you are able to keep that, it will be a huge help in maintaining without tracking if you want to do that.2 -
5'4, 118 lbs here. I maintain on 1800 per day.0

I'm 5 ft 2", 45 yrs old and am maintaining at 134 lbs ☺
my stats are 34" chest /26.75" waist / 35.5" hip
I eat approx 2000 cals per day.
I workout 6 day's a week x 40 to 60 mins and aim for average 15k steps/day.2 -
I have maintained for a good few years at about 105lb at 5'1.
sw 128-130, gw 105 cw 103.
32bust, 25.5waist, 34.5hip.
Cardio 3x week 60min. Weights starting again soon, sedentary life in the winter.
Loosing cal 1200 or less
Maintaining cal 1375 or more.

I'm 5'3" and 96lbs now. I was maintaining less than that on ~1500 calories a day but I'm gaining on 1680 now. I guess maintenance at my goal weight (100lbs) will be somewhere in the 16-1700 range.0

Am 5ft 2 gained 3 pounds back on purpose was looking ribby am currently sitting on 107 pounds for maintenance I eat 2010 calories to maintain on top of that I eat back half my excersize calories.. I am very active I work with horses and I also go to the gym1

5'2" 120 lbs, age 42, size 2P/ XS petite (generally). Just finding maintenance calories, by gradually increasing. Right now at 1700 calories plus eating back all exercise (cardio/Garmin vivofit) calories.0

5' 4", maintaining at roughly 120lbs (give or take 3 or 4 lbs), eating 1600 plus most of my exercise calories. Occasionally have the odd day where I can't stop eating (boredom), and the odd 'balance' day to make up for it.1

I'm 5'3" 116 and size XS/0 usually. I ate at least 2000 calories last year (while logging) and couldn't maintain, just kept losing. I stopped logging food and ate what felt right and watched the scale and how my clothes felt. I managed, over the year, to bring my weight up from 110 to 118, then got back down to 116. At 118, my pants were tight, at 110, they were falling:)
What is your calorie goal now, and how much are you losing? You can also go to scooby calculator and work out your calories for your goal weight, and eat that now. It will still be trial and error, because an online calculator will never find your perfect maintenance calories, but it is a good starting point. Basically, figure out what your maintenance calories for your goal weight would be, start eating that number until you reach your goal weight, and there won't be much to fiddle with. You should have a good idea if that number works or not.0 -
I'm 4'11.5 and 96lbs and I'm trying very hard to maintain but I'm still in a weight loss stage. I'm not complaining, I love seeing extra fat burn off but everyone else is worried I am falling too thin but I don't feel that way.0

5'3" 110lb and maintain at around 2000 calories a day.1

Im 5'3" weigh about 124-126lb and maintain at 1750 cals a day.
I do crossfit 1 time a week, lift weights 2 times a week and walk at least 7k steps on weekdays and 10k steps on weekenddays. I have a sedetary job so 7k is plenty for me on weekdays ;-)0 -
I'm 5"2, around 104lbs and have a desk job so enter my activity as sedentary. I maintain on around 1570 calories although MFP says less for me to maintain.0

I'm 4'11". Current weight 105. This was my ultimate goal weight, but now I want to get down a few more pounds (102-103). I'm slowing down my weightloss by adding another 100 calories this week. I lost easily at 1400 per day (about a half pound a week).
I'm at 1500 calories a day right now, but I assume my maintenance is going to be closer to 1600. I'm going to see how it goes over the next couple weeks to determine whether I'm still losing or maintaining. MFP has me at 1350 to maintain at sedentary, but I lose quickly when that low.0 -
I'm 5'2 and at my last weigh in (on Friday), I was 114. My goal weight was 112 and I got there, but as soon as I raised my calories to 1450 (slowly from 1200, over a period of a few weeks), I seemed to balance out around 113-114, which feels too high for me. So I am thinking I am maintaining on about 1450, but I will wait until my next weigh in, which is in a few days before cutting calories again and losing a few more lbs. Also, I cannot believe that I am seemingly maintaining on only 1450 I am "lightly active", definitely, and every calorie calculator tells me 1550 as a minimum for maintenance0

I have similar stats-5‘2" 102. MFP gives me 1420 as maintenance and it's about right. I see other "shorties" who maintain with higher than that. Part of it could be age (53). I Set my calories at 1350 because on days I don't workout, my fitbit gives me a calorie burn of 1200ish.0 -

Yeah my Fitbit says around 1500 calories for me. I'm a little lower in weight than i want so looking to put a few lbs on slowly so 1570 is ok for me...for now lol.

I'm 5'3", 119 pounds and only have been at maintenance for almost a month. I eat 1660 calories, sometimes more depending on my workouts.0

Well, I'm 5'2", and down to 120 now, where I plan on staying. Really just starting on maintenance, though.0

Start eating more, and stop losing. Listen to those other people.

Pretty much the same. I'm 22 and I'm maintaining at about 135. My range is about 1600-1700 a day depending on rest day or workout day. I try not to eat my calories back but sometimes I do...I work out 6 days a week with Jillian M.
I'm a size 2. Waist is 25 and hips are about 33. I carry a lot of my weight in my thighs so I'm really trying to work on that. I'm happy with where I'm at now except for some problem areas.0 -
I am 5'2" and seem to stay at 107-108 easily when I average 1800 calories a day. I do brisk walking for exercise, most days, for 45 minutes. I'm 37.0

Im 5'3.5 ( makes all the difference!) Currently eating 2000 a day and seeing where weight ends up currently 114 would love some other friends eating a similar amount x0

I am 5'2 and trying to find my balance. Struggling to eat at a deficit at the moment. I maintain at 1700-1800 cal. The picture was taken 3 years ago. Would love to get back there eventually but happy to maintain too.0

I'm only 5'1 and trying to get down to 8 stone 7 about 120 lbs. It's hard though as I'm a right foodie and I'm not a tiny thing (i.e Kylie Minogue who is my height but really petite), I'm quite compact and muscly (if that's a word). I usually float around the 9 stone 7 mark 130 lbs :-)0

Well done! 120 lbs is my goal weight! How did you do it?0 -
Shazland, 128-130 was my start weight. It took a year to reach my goal 105/7.5st. I ate at a deficit, and exercised 60 min a day.
When you are short and petite to begin with it is hard to loose the extra pounds by just eating at a deficit - we need to burn them by upping our cardio and not eating back the calories. That is the only way I could eliminate 500 cal a day for a 1 lb a week weight loss ( I soon changed to a more realistic 1/2lb per week). Doing a bit of lifting will help you reshape.
Sherry Teach, nice to have a twin. It is sometimes lonely beind an older petite on MFP.
Cheers, h.3
